For anyone who has travelled with Leyland & Chorley

Yeah, recognise him. Always friendly and a passionate Pool fan.
Good luck in your fight.

Good lad is Paul and absolutely Football Mad and has followed Pool all over the Country with L&CS for years and always been good company on away games when I’ve travelled - Leyland And Chorley Seasider Forever Paul

Traveled to away games with Paul a few times, a really nice lad and 100% Pool through and through, get well soon Paul

Paul's a good lad with a Tangerine heart. He missed an away game years ago when he got beaten up by two Preston fans when was on his way to his pick-up point, which was 4 or 5 miles from his house, somewhere in the wilderness. Tell me about the song, "I'll walk a million miles---"

Sad news folks, my brother just let me know that Paul passed away this evening at 6:30 - he had been in The Vic and PRI since just before Christmas where he had received many visitors from his friends at work and from the Leyland & Chorley crowd.

RIP Paul a Blackpool Fan till the end and will be joining that home crowd in the sky now.

Just got the text off your bro too mate. Very sad news. One of lifes good guys. RIP Paul mate. Always a Seasider.

RIP. Condolences to family friends and all who travelled with him all around the country. Didn't know him myself but definitely recognize him from away games through thick and thin.

Absolutely shocked to just read the original post discovering Paul’s situation & dumbfounded to scroll down to see the update tonight. Paul sat right next to us on the top balcony next to the scoreboard & was well known to my wife & her family for years & he lived close to us in Walton le dale. He did tell us he had trouble with his legs & we didn’t see him for some of the home games earlier in the year which was unusual but now we know why. Terribly sad news. Paul was tangerine through & through & he followed BFC everywhere. So sorry to hear of his passing-we will commemorate him the next time we get to watch a game live. RIP

Lovely post that Fonz - Paul wasn’t dealt the best hand of cards as our kid always said, but he had many friends who looked out for him and would always help out with a lift here, a lend of a Season Ticket there - my brother was a good friend to him and is gutted and many of you will know Geoff who always let Paul be his “helper” at matches so he could get in for nowt.

We have our spats and fall outs on here, but when it comes to looking after a fellow Seasider you can always rely on a Tangerine to come through for you.

Only just found out about Paul as dont come on here very often and someone else mentioned they'd seen it on here. Know he's been ill and it was likely only a matter of time before we got this news but still a big shock so soon after the story the club put out last week.

Not much to add that others havent already said but a genuine bloke who like many others probably spent more time and money following bfc around the country than he could afford but was always there almost every game home and away.

Some of the best days of my life shared with the Leyland and Chorley lot over the last 20 years or so and Paul an almost ever present part of those special days and memories, (and a lot of less positive but equally memorable trips too!).

RIP Paul
