Forgotten Football chants at Bloomfield Road

« The Dutch,it’s like watching the Dutch,it’s just like watching the Dutch »
Saved for exceptional performances only from my memory.

Not forgotten cos I heard it vs forest, the middle eighth bit from 'Ivory Madonna.' My Burnley supporting mate loved it.

The songs called Food For Thought. One of UB40s very early songs. It used to be sung a lot years ago.
Always been one of my favourites. Living down south I used to often bring friends up who supported other clubs to Bloomfield Road (it was always easy to persuade my mates with a weekend on the piss even if it meant they had to watch the Pool with me!) and every single time they'd comment on how good it sounded.

I know Birmingham City still sing it, anyone know how comes we adopted it? Pretty sure I've never heard it anywhere else apart from us two.

'You're going home in a f#kin ambulance' was a 1970s classic
I remember running on the pitch at BR Getting to the half way line and chanting we'll see you all outside, change subject i remember sneaking back in the ground after the games had finished over barbed wire fence in west stand Looking for coins away fans had lobbed on the pitch and secret door you could go under scratching sheds stand

The 'cheer up' (Monkees Daydream believer' song doesn't seem to have been sung since we had any contempt for either a Burnley or Preston manager. I think we're largely empathetic to Ryan Lowe or Vincent Kompany.

I’ll never forget Stockport fans (temporary scaffold days) singing “town full of gypos” and us replying from block A “town full of smack heads” quickly followed by “sit down, and inject yourselves”. Half of block A literally sitting down and exaggeratingly signalling injecting themselves 😂
