Can anyone tell me why Stoke were able to use 4 subs - was it a concussion sub?
I don't remember any of their players having a head injury, unlike Thorniley. Can anyone tell me why Stoke were able to use 4 subs - was it a concussion sub?
I think their number 6 went off with a concussion injury in the first half, but l don’t get this ruling re subsI don't remember any of their players having a head injury, unlike Thorniley.
Didn’t that happen at Huddersfield? If we used the concussion rule for Thorniley going off injured the opposition get an extra sub as well to even it out.
If a team have a player that goes off with concussion, both teams get to use an extra substitution.
Concussion my arseI think their number 6 went off with a concussion injury in the first half, but l don’t get this ruling re subs
Think it was Huddersfield. We definitely used it earlier this season, there was head scratching then, but as above both teams get an extra sub.Didn’t that happen at Huddersfield?
CorrectDidn’t that happen at Huddersfield?
Wow that’s actually sensible. Not like the ruling powers to bring a rule in that’s been thought through?Thorniley was a concussion sub. To stop teams using the ruling to gain an advantage from extra fresh legs, the opposing team get an additional sub. Makes sense.
As mentioned above, we were allowed an extra sub away at Huddersfield after Madine flattened their centre half and he went off with concussion.
