Friendly vs Squires Gate

Apologies for the somewhat self promotion, but we at squires gate have announced our friendly against a Blackpool XI on Friday the 9th of July at 7.30PM.

this is a huge night for the club and could get us some well needed financial support as well as improving our links with Blackpool FC and the town as a whole.

Tickets are on sale now at a mutually-agreed price of £10 per adults, with kids free with a paying adult - https://myteamonline.co.uk/club-shop/squires-gate-fc/blackpool-fc-match-day-tickets/

it’ll be a superb night and would be great to see as many Pool fans down as possible!

Should be a good night. What age are kids classed as for the free entry.
Also just to mention the linked web page shows collection from Red Bank Rd up until 5pm Friday 8th July (presume should be Thursday 8th July or Friday 9th July)?

Kids aged up to 12, we’ll make that clearer. And yes you’re right we’ll get that amended, thanks 👍🏻
 
After the year they must have had, I hope that BFC fans support this one in their droves. This could keep the club going for a large chunk of next season and so buy those tickets!

Should read Friday the 9th - should be changed on the website imminently👍🏻
 
Just a bump for this - hoping to see a lot of Blackpool fans down tomorrow night, POTG will be available

Ah great! Where abouts is it, that they are playing? I've been trying to look for directions etc but I'm getting a tad confused.

It’s at Brian Addison Stadium, on School Road. If you were to drive up common edge road from Blackpool and go past The Shovels - turn left at the traffic lights and it’s on your left pretty much straight away👍🏻
 
Good Luck SG tonight - hopefully a decent gate. Out of interest what's the deal with refreshments and any social distancing?
 
Think I will have to settle for score updates on twitter. Hope there is a good crowd to help the club.
 
It will effectively be a youth team game. Possibly 1st year pro’s given there is a game tomorrow.

I could give you a pretty good guess who will be playing because those that aren't in Scotland, basically the first year scholars and those that weren't training with the first team, were all training at Stanley Park when I walked past yesterday.

I'm unable to attend the match as it would be a 500+ mile round trip for me. Can I purchase a ticket please to help support your team? I just tried the link above but it doesn't appear to be working. UTP from an Edinburgh Seasider.

We had our youth team goalkeeper in net as our first choice was isolating - was also missing our best player (James Boyd) who plays behind the strikers but other than that it was pretty much it apart from one or two others. I’d say 7 of them would start in our strongest team
