The present negative fan footballing situation is untenable.
Its said the board are stuck because Applehead is on a four year contract or maybe a relegation sack clause.
It was clear to me that on Saturday when there was a holt in play because of an injury most of the Blackpool players all went to the side lines for water and obviously direction how do we change this awful mess. All to a man went to the other coaching staff for direction. All talking to the coaching staff, not one of then went to Applehead who was stood like a statue with his hands in his pockets as usual. He never offered any words of advice or encouragement to any of them unless he is a fantastic ventriloquist. I believe he has lost the players they are paid professionals and are doing what they are paid to do.
WHATS THE POINT IN HIM AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadler if he wants to go and be paid off (Watford starting line up proves that) and you cant afford it then put him on GARDENING LEAVE.
See what the players and rest of coaching staff can sort out between them and employ a quick fix coach ASAP, anyone would be better than this dead man walking.

The players in that moment told me all I needed to know, and Appleheads response told me he was a clueless clown.

Put him on retraining as grounds man or security in away end, he will be safe there.

Please oh Please do something rather than nothing or we are heading to League One.

He’d make a cracking doorman or security guard.

There’s hope he could still have something to contribute around Bloomfield Road. 😁

Which gets me thinking, does anyone have any smart reasons we can dodge paying him off?

Dereliction of duty?
Shuffling his nuts on work time?
On medical grounds, due to insanity?

It's happened at home games too. Break in play, playerscome over to sidelines, Appleton turns away. Something is not right!
 
Been saying this all season he’s a shocking motivator he never gets into the 4th officials face when decisions go against us no encouragement from the technical area nothing.

Achieves nothing I agree but it shows us fans at least the manager cares about what he’s seeing on the pitch.
Every other manager I’ve seen at Bloomfield road this season has had a pop at the 4th official one way or the other so why is Appleton so different?

I think it sets a tone, I agree that it actually doesn't achieve anything in context of the game but it's a heap better than just standing there with hands in pocket. I suspect he gets more excitement out of a gym session or planning his protein in-take.

Maybe he’d say he leaves coaching to the coaches. He does seem standoffish and superior in every way.

When your at the game you dont always look or see things the same. I'm at the back of the KOP and don't really notice these things but on telly when the cameras zoomed into what was happening at the benches it was clear to see he may as well have been sat in the stands, or watching it with me.

I'm not so sure on that, the squad seemed a very happy camp under Critchley. Sure, not every player is going to be happy and I wouldn't expect a squad that has failed to win any of the last 10 league games to be buzzing but considering Appleton said the lads were buzzing ahead of Watford, the display suggests otherwise.

I’m always at the game so don’t notice , although on a different note I was at the fleetwood Bolton game during the break, right behind the home dug out , I can guarantee during the whole game Scott brown (as much as I never liked him) who I’m sure will go on to better things, never even made eye contact with any players, he just observed and left the rest to the five other blokes stood next to him, i do think it’s time for Appleton to leave , but you know what I still like him, too many people obsessed with looking at every move he makes🙁

Really? I don't think it is that simple, yes they deserved to win but it just feels our manager is massively out of touch. To say the players were buzzing would suggest they were chomping at the bit to get at a massively under strength Watford, yet we turn in another limp performance.

Critch was a good manager of a squad of players. Appleton is a poor man manager and even worse at squad management cutting players adrift
 
Perhaps we should adopt a democratic system where the whole management team have a say in who they feel are the best to fulfil the tasks on the day & substitutions too. A secret ballot of course 😂 Then also the management team assess the opposition & look at how best to nullify them. A collective. I know big Sam left nothing to chance in that department. I’ve no idea how Appleton approaches this tactical side or if he is astute enough to even broach it. Or just get rid & take a chance on someone else.
