I loved Gazza but I watch Foden and at the same age seems to have progressed more, hope is head stays straight and not clouded by the people around him.

Great video. You forget things like Gazza's heading power! We've had no-one to touch Gazza since he finished playing and I doubt we ever will. Grealish is not a likeable alternative with his arrogance, constant cheating and Billy big boots behaviour off field. He is however the most creative player of the current crop. He's no Gazza though.

foden looks as if he could be something really special. love his vision and the way he can ghost past defenders. pep rates him highly , maybe he could become as good as anyone in the world.

Interesting thread. I was watching City last night and I was thinking where Foden ranks. For me, he is potentially the best English footballer in my lifetime. Better than Keegan, better than Gascoigne, better than Beckham. Let's hope he keeps developing.
