I think the money on offer would compensate for that. If he makes the move he’d be potentially setting himself and his family up for life. I’m not sure anyone, even some football club chairmen, would begrudge him for that.

What a load of bullshit, this is obviously a clickbait story from Nixon.

Gerrard leaves for Saudi Arabia a few days ago, Critchley is at Blackpool again, he puts 2+2 together to make 5 while putting this whole fanbase into a frenzy before the season starts.

Nixon knows this type of story is juicy and wants people to pay to read his shit so it's too easy for him, shameless **.

And shame on all of the fans in here who are gleefully posting about how "they hope this is true", fuck off, having to find another manager AGAIN this far into Summer (even if Dobbie is appointed) after several signings have already been made would be disastrous to our season.

This story is bullshit and even if there was a hint of truth to it Critchley wouldn't leave again, that would do irreparable harm to his CV, no club would ever hire him for the foreseeable future due to him jumping ship so frequently, even if the money is life changing. And after Villa he won't need more money as they paid out his contract when he and Stevie G were sacked. He loves managing and he cares far more about making a decent career for himself than getting even more money.
 
SG may want NC because:

1. He will be his translator - one of the only people to understand what he is saying.
2. He will want him to do the training in the hot sun, while he sunbathes by the pool or hob nobs with royalty on a luxury yacht.
 
I think critchley has learned this time , grass isn’t always greener , he said last time , more and less was a mistake , plus does he really want to move from Uk 🤷
 
Probably a pointless statement because if Critchley wants to go, he will do. I actually don’t think he’d be interested in all honesty.
 
If this was all the bollux that the club statement implies, then the Club needs to have words with the Sporting Editor of the rag in question.

Not saying there’s anything to this story, but if he loves managing so much why did he leave a manager’s job to go as a cone boy?

He has come back to the club and fans he betrayed in a very big way. If he hadn't done the fist punching and built up a reputation that he was a man who was all for the club ,it would not have been as bad . Yet now we have suspicion that he may do the same again. It may not be a crime ,but it shows there is no respect for him.
 
Nixon is less accurate than a stopped clock yet people keep giving him credence. This is pure speculation that a child could have written once Gerrard got a new job. That the club had to issue a statement about this fantasy just shows how quickly horsesh*t gets spread around in the closed season these days thanks to social media.
 
Short term gain long term pain. Critchley could cash in until the Scouse Oaf is sacked again which won’t be that long. But after that no one will trust him & his reputation would be in tatters. Assuming there is a semblance of truth in this story.

Been drinking? Your post makes absolutely zero sense + who’s Debbie? Forest Green have already appointed a female manager so theres no novelty value to it anymore.
