Best guess is they have homes and families elsewhere so stay at the hotel and commute when they can rather than uprooting them every couple of years.

Could be they're not married and simply like it that way.

Probably got a suite rather than a single room, get a good rate and it's convenient for them.

Also both joined in January last year, so Covid and lockdown has thrown everything up in the air.
