How was that a penalty?
As part of the investigation into financial irregularities will the commission look into bungs to referee's?
And why can't VAR see it?
Which brings me to Lee Mason's (probably the worst referee in the world) appearance as VAR referee yesterday. He actually forgot what to do.

As soon as Lee Mason is involved you know there will be an out and out wrong decision. He's been shite for a couple of decades.
 
Referees don’t often stay in my memory for very long, like they say you shouldn’t notice a good ref, but Lee Mason is and always has been a totally incompetent twunt!!! Home game v Barnsley 2009, gave us nothing all game then gave them one of the softest penalties you’ll ever see in the last minute, the guys stolen a living.
 
The one good thing about not being in the Premier league is not having to put up with VAR. It's destroying the game yet football fans are just putting up with it. Thought it was ment for clear and obvious errors, being a millimetre offside and someone having to view it half a dozen times would suggest it wasn't a clear and obvious. Having to wait to wait a couple of minutes to see if a goal stands or not is ridiculous.
The spammers game yesterday , goal cancelled for a miniscule offside a blatant handball in the penalty area not even checked. And while I got me moaning old man's head on, let's get rid of linesmen as they don't even award throw-ins or corners without the OK from the ref. And as for the not putting the flag up for an offside again total bollocks.

Mason spent over three minutes checking for offside in the build up to Brentford's goal, and then forgot to check the actual goal where two players were a foot off.

As for the Palace game...they put the line on the wrong defender, so the last man was ignored, resulting in s Brighton offside. Absolute joke.

The Lino running the west yesterday was mr.maghoo …constantly looked to the ref for a decision…but .for once the ref tried to make players( both teams ) actually take a throw in from where the ball went out though not always successfully…really annoys me when players are allowed to steal several yards…and let’s be honest Rotherham looked like a side who worked on long throws.
