So anyone going? Who are we looking forward to seeing? Memories from the past and how many days can you go without washing your underwear?
Being a bit of a nostalgia lover, looking forward to seeing what Sir Elton does.

Was going to wait until tomorrow to start a thread but as you've beaten me to it - the last 3 years threads .. including the gloomy 2021 cancel!

Not going, I like my home comforts too much.
Really looking forward to Arctic Monkeys. The last time they headlined about 10 years ago they were superb. Alex Turner is currently suffering from a bout of laryngitis though, apparently, so there is talk of a possible cancellation 😳

Underwear? LUXURY! Tha dunt know tha born! Bloody underwear you posh get!

Will be watching plenty of it ver the weekend whilst on the Norfolk coast.

Arctic Monkeys, Loyle Carner, War against Drugs, Queensof the Stone Age, Unthanks, Gabriel’s, Barrington Levy, Sniff n the Tears, Glen Hansard and The Damned for me

Will watch as possible over the weekend though Arctic Monkeys may have to pull out as front man Alex has Laryngitis, which if anything to go by previous would mean Royal Blood stepping up love them.
The line up and times-

Tonight sorted!

Emily Eavis has confirmed the Arctic Monkeys' Glastonbury set at Glastonbury will go ahead, despite frontman Alex Turner contracting laryngitis.
The band cancelled a gig in Dublin earlier this week, casting doubt on whether they'd be fit for the festival.
But Eavis told BBC Radio 2: "He's ok. They're on."
"It was a little bit close there for a minute. We were thinking about whether we should have a serious back-up plan - but no, thankfully, they're on."
Fans had already speculated the gig would go ahead, after the band's trucks parked behind the Pyramid Stage on Thursday night.
When the Sheffield band take to the stage at 22:15 on Friday

War on Drugs; QOTSA; Blondie for definite as they're on the box. Gong to watch Guns n Roses on Saturday as I'll be well oiled by then and might not notice how shit his voice has got. Hopefully we'll get the Damned on one of the Streams. Some of the bands I want to see won't be streamed. Working Men's Club (saw them at the Bootleg) and Pale Blue Eyes are on some of the fringe stages and so doubt we'll get a stream

War on drugs were fantastic in Halifax on Wednesday. The support band were called WarPaint who I notice are on Glastonbury tonight - they will be worth a watch.

Looking forward to see who the churnups are. Rumours it’s Dave Grohl and some others

Never been!
Looks amazing, but at 62 think perhaps it’s “the one that got away” for me.
I’ve watched thousands of highlights over the years but The Libertines in 2015 takes some beating.
My Daughter-In-Law was lucky enough to be there to see that set live.
My partners Son & Fiancée are there, they will no doubt be disappointed if the Artics are cancelled, I don’t know how but, never seen the Manics I bet the were/are good at Glastonbury.
Elton John does nothing for me since he sold us short of his Blackpool Gig in 2012, and didn’t return.
I’m currently in Arroyo De La Meil for the Saint Juan Festival but that’s fireworks and carnivals over music🤣🤣
Looking forward to the Manchester Tribute Bands at Blackpool Cricket Club on the Saturday of August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Anyone else up for that I know it’s 99% SOLD OUT.
I’ll have my Tangerine TV subscription from Lincoln on my 4G🤣
Have a great weekend everyone wherever you are as the football season gets nearer😀
🚌#87🧡🍺

Sorry missed that post, I hope the Artics can play🙏🙏

I went to the homecoming gig of the Monkeys in Sheffield two weeks ago. We unfortunately were a bit disappointed 🥲

In the past they were raw and really reacted to the crowd, got involved and equally played numbers that would get everyone going.

This time it was all a bit Hollywood? They were slick, musically tight but no interaction at all barring a quick “hello Sheffield”. Their set was heavily ballad and smooth - great to listen to if you’re sat around with friends but everyone wanted blockbuster jump around tunes.

It didn’t help either that the Hives supporting them were awesome and I think did more crowd surfing than songs 😂

Alex Turner went a bit weird when he left for the States. Not sure if it’s ‘put on’ or he just got too deep believing in his own hype.

I’d go with that Lala. He looked very ‘tousled and groomed’. Almost like he was appearing on Graham Norton.

Shame as when I was in the smoke last week that was the general feedback from those who’d been at different venues.

Let’s hope tonight that raw MySpace band is back and not the middle of the road easy listening crap we saw

Alex Turner pah

He's not even the best singer in his family

Sparks tonight of course, how could I forget them??

Mantra of The Cosmos, Shaun Ryders new “Supergroup“ comprising of Zak Starkey, Andy Bell (Oasis) and Bez (natch), Sunday night, been listening to the single got a psychedelica vibe to it.

First time I've seen them ( I know I'm out of touch but I'm a bit old and past it). They are my new favouritest band. Who knew lead guitarists are now unnecessary.

I often wonder what Amy W would be like now. What she would be singing.

She was a talent. And a testament as to why kids should say fuck off drugs.
Yeh tragic waste of a great talent, sadly drugs are all part of the music fraternity, some get through those times, others don’t. 😞

Ok my first controversial comment of the eve. Why are they using sign language at Glastonbury?
Is that not like taking a blind person to an art gallery??
It's not like a deaf person can hear sign language is it ?? I could never get my head around that one ..🤷
