Every time I listen to this xxxx on my way back from a Blackpool game on Radio Lancashire ( that in itself is a joke more like Radio East Lancs) I feel like he has to be the biggest xxxx in radio as the only thing that he is interested in is his six figured friends from Burnley( mind you that xxxx Scottish Rovers ** is no better).
Tonight via TTV endorsed that.Football pundit my arse.Clearly was up for the Baggies from the first minute and that effing voice of his is enough to want to slit your own throat.

If folk like you stopped listening to that rubbish theyā€™d be gone tomorrow
Would you like to explain that?
The only reason I listen to RLancs is because I have a 60 mile drive home after a home game and the alternatives ie Radio 5 are only interested in the PL or god forbid Talksport.
Having said that the new post saturday RLancs format really winds me up as it is absolutely awful.
Think Iā€™ll stick to Boom Radio in futureā€¦.at least I can associate with the musicšŸ˜‰

He obviously got a rollocking at HT as he turned from the 'we' as in WB and Blackpool are no Sheft U to being more even second half.

A letter will be going in.

Gittings is, how should I say, a ** too.

Well he would. Blackpool were better until the last 15 mins then reverted to type.

He gets the midlands and southern midweek games as he lives in Reading (how utterly dull).
He mentioned his ā€œReadingā€ links more times than us.He barely seemed to know much about our players, but had it been his beloved Burnleeeee then of course as he usually says on RL ā€ this team are going up and far too good for the Championshipā€.As previously mentioned by a previous poster the actual commentator was awful too.Bring back Chizzy,Brett,Thommo, and better still Big BenšŸ„šŸ„šŸ„

A key requirement of a local radio co commentator is to be knowledgable about the local team you are working on that day.

Glen Little didnā€™t tick that box at all last night.

It sounded like he got to the game well in advance. Would it hurt him to spend his time before the game looking at videos of Blackpool, recent reports and generally getting up to speed on us?

No, he is the epitome of the ex pro ā€œ I am a football person, so Iā€™ll just blag itā€..

We listen top BBC Radio Lancs every day. Great prog.
That is, except that Graham Liver is a Rovers fan and never lets us forget it.
I like G. Liver but his Blackburn obsession is over the top. He was born in Lancaster.

While we are talking commentary have to give praise where it's due. Sky commentary on the game last night was excellent. Very knowledgeable on Blackpool and knew plenty about the team.

Sorry I didn't listen to the commentary but I met Glen Little when he was finishing his playing days at Grays Athletic when I was working for Billericay Town. He spent have an hour chatting to me about his days at Burnley and ho we he loved the rivalry with Blackpool. He was very kind to me that night and I enjoyed the chat. Just my experience for what it's worth.

Didn't think the commentary was that bad tbh. In fact I thought it was fairly accurate throughout the whole match... what do people expect him to talk about instead of his playing days etc? How much he wishes he could have played for blackpool? We were shit, brom were good, that's what they said, simple really.
