God Save the King

I don't know if there's any serious interest in getting Critchley back but he didn't half like to leave Yates out of the team on way too many occasions for my liking. Wonder what Jerrys private thoughts are on that and if it could influence any decision he may have to make.? Anyway that's merely speculation on my part.

Seriously though , now its all over . I thought the bit when he was caught short and they had to put the screen around the commode and he emerged having not managed to fully dress himself was a tad awkward , but apart from that and the weather it all went off rather well.

The coronation was shown live all around the world and no other country's coronation ceremony would have been shown outside their own country. Corriefactomundo 😜🇬🇧

Yes, when was the last time the American, Chinese, Russian, Indian, Canadian, Argentinian, Iraqi, French Brazilian, coronation was shown around the world? Never.

Juan Carlos of Spain was on telly and that as in the 70s.

That was quite amusing. Incidently, they usually do have special loos nearby for the royals in case they are in need whilst on duty :)

I was very impressed at the organisation and the colour, despite the poor weather. The parade and salute after the coronation was fantastic.
I did notice the cheering and flag waving for William, Kate and their family was much more enthusiastic than for Charles and the Queen. Charles looked a very old and tired man during the ceremony, and when he stood up holding the two septres and with the crown on his head, I thought he was going to keel over.
