Was that Gaz goals? One guy went when we were losing 0-1
Now that’s seriousI left a third of my pint whilst at the pub at the weekend and went home.
I can never understand blokes who do that .I left a third of my pint whilst at the pub at the weekend and went home.
Yep, almost 2 rows in front of us quickly emptied when they went 2-1 up.Quite a few left in the south when they went 2-1 up, now I'm not going to judge them, it's their decision but I hope it makes them realise sticking with the team, even if it feels like blind faith, is some times rewarded. As a whole I thought the support on Tuesday was brilliant but this does show we can still improve. Every point is vital.
It was a poster of here can't remember his name his Avatar is flying hat and bad teeth! One guy went when we were losing 0-1
I'd go and see a doctor, mateI left a third of my pint whilst at the pub at the weekend and went home.
Don’t blame himOne guy went when we were losing 0-1
People tend to leave football matches to go back to the pub wiz, as you well knowI find if I leave the cinema ten minutes before the end of a film I always get a clear run out of the car park. That's what's important when attending events.
You wouldn’t have thought that if you saw Man ure last season. Losing 0-3 at half time more people left than we get in the ground. I don’t know why certain posters seem to think it’s only us, as someone said if you’re going go. Don’t hang about on the steps, around exits etc. if you’ve seen enough goodbye. We have a larger minority than most clubs doing this. It is the most bat shit thing ever and yes as above the knobs who stand about as they do it. Just fuck of if you’re going.

Round our way, there's the same people leave on 85 minutes every time, regardless of the score, regardless of whether its Saturday or midweek. My lad has to be up before 5 am and left when 2-1 down to avoid the traffic.
Fortunately he was walking behind the goal when Bowler scored!
I will be leaving around 4-50 pm at Stoke game. I have a flight that evening.
Most have genuine reasons however I know some who have no excuse.
Just like those who prefer to join the drinks queue 10 minutes before halftime.
Each to their own.
That was me and, as I inferred in my post, I'm of an age where I can remember all standards of football at Bloomfield Road over 65 years of support and I now watch football for its entertainment value. What I watched on Tuesday was of a standard that was usually seen on Layton Flashings on a bad day. I could not see an improvement happening in the second half with the side MM had put out. This turned out to be correct until the frantic last ten minutes. My late brother used to joke that if the Pool were playing in our back yard he would draw the curtains! That's how I felt on Tuesday. I'll be there on Saturday! One guy went when we were losing 0-1
Fair enough but we go to games knowing how long they last, imagine us getting an injury time winner on Tuesday and you’re boy misses it to have a bit more time in the morning, anyway each to there own as you say, more so than ever football seems to have some very late goals nowadaysMy lad has to be up before 5 am and left when 2-1 down to avoid the traffic.

Yeah I know I left early due to potential trouble in 1975 & Mickey Walsh scored the goal of the season to beat Sunderland 3-2 & I've only left 30 seconds before the end since, that was when we got walloped at home this season I think & I was practically on my own in the mighty West & the North was like a graveyard by then, so I thought fuck it we can't possibly score 4 in half a minute & walked out. It's bizarre behaviour really. The games in the balance and you've paid to watch it. The last minute winner or equaliser is what it's all about.
What benefit leaving early, an extra 5-10 minutes to reflect at home? Also on your way hearing a big roar as we score and you've missed it?
Odd, you then miss the celebrations when we win, yes remember that feeling.
Brilliant stuff! People leave games early for a variety reasons. Some valid and some just bizarre, but if you don’t have to leave early, why would you? Each to their own I guess.Yeah I know I left early due to potential trouble in 1975 & Mickey Walsh scored the goal of the season to beat Sunderland 3-2 & I've only left 30 seconds before the end since, that was when we got walloped at home this season I think & I was practically on my own in the mighty West & the North was like a graveyard by then, so I thought fuck it we can't possibly score 4 in half a minute & walked out.
Edit having watched that again after all those years " that was never a pen"
