Good shift from Callum Connelly today

He seemed to do ok.

With Connolly, Husband and Pennington we don't seem to mave much pace at the back and 1 through ball and we can be cut open, as witnessed today and in the last game.

It's not our optimal back 3 for me, Husband did very well early season but since has gone off the boil.

I'd like to see Casey back in, also Ekpiteta is a great defender but often poor passer.

He was good. Not the answer as the central defender for me. Maybe on the right of the three if anything. Would rather Marv just to add a bit of pace especially if playing a high line. He did well today though.

I think that should be always a poor passer. Fine in a 4, but not central in a 3.

I like all 3 but none would be good enough if we got promoted

He was better than Husband which is not saying much
Yeah, started the season really well but he's been aimlessly hoofing it a lot and as well as some bad mistakes.

Really like him but he's having a bit of a rough patch.

Hopefully he's seen it through now.

I thought he was meh personally and Hubby has been off for about 3 or 4 games now, his passing has deserted him. I would play Pennington, Casey and Hubby but as Wiz said, Hubby looks like he needs a couple of weeks off to recharge his batteries because he was our best player for most of this season.

I'd say we didn't have our best performance defensively today, there was a lot of last gasp stuff, but we didnt seem in control in defence. We rode our luck a bit today. Pennington was probably my pick of the three for me today. Despite the wonder strike I still think Norburn creates more problems defensively than he solves.

Seeing as there are many on here who think stats are the gospel of football, they had 7 shots on target to our 6, had 1 disallowed and Grimmy made a couple of great saves. So no we weren't as comfortable as the scoreline suggested. It's something to build on.

Why is it when we win lots of our fans seem to view the games different to what happened .They would certainly be useless on catchphrase IE say what you see .Connelly wasn't good just how many times does he give the ball away .A few weeks ago Pennington had one of the worst games ever he was shocking but because we won he was getting good scores .It's like we get giddy and completely forget what we actually watched .He wasn't bad apart from the usual hoofing The ball away but just say what you actually see

Connolly did ok today but he's cost us goals in recent games as has Husband who is still probably top of the table in the player of the season stakes. Players have good and bad games yet some fans choose only to notice/comment on the performances that support their agenda!
