Good win today

Decent performance and a good win, if not scintillating.

I didn't think much of Stevenage, we limited them to mostly half chances.

Did we get a bit fortunate when we switched off and they got that goal before half time though...

It was funny though, thier striker shushing the north only for the linesman to raise his flag and the lad got a load of stick back at him. Idiot.

We did put together some nice moves, particularly 2nd half, CJ's goal was very well worked and there some other moments too.

CJ did well again, he's deserved a goal for his performances this season, not sure why some write him off. Yes he's not perfect but he can cause all sorts of issues and his pace is a massive threat. He's also rarely beaten defensively. It means players don't want to run past him as much as they know he's too fast. Very well taken goal.

Great moment for Dale too.

There were quite a few other decent performances from players but nothing to get too carried away about IMO.

Just a good all round performance for me.

That win nicely moves us up into the playoff mix, with some having played more and some less.

If only we'd beaten Charlton from that winning position.

But a good day 👍

Agree with most of that but thought CJ had a poor game. His goal was superb though, great worked move and he took it well.

Without that goal I’d argue he was our worst player today. It’s partly not his fault though as he’s being played on the wrong side, but it’s vindicated today by him cutting inside and scoring a great goal.

Cj was great today.

Exactly how I saw it and the first game i haven't come away feeling a little frustrated with the overall performance.

Poor? I thought he was a threat. The goal, involved in another good move which I think led to Rhodes having a shot blocked for a corner. Few more nearly moments.

Hard to say who was the worst performer, there were some at times who just gave the ball away needlessly. I recall husband did this quite a lot. But was pretty solid at the back otherwise. Carey wasn't setting the world on fire.

Not sure how you can say he was the worst when he makes things happen. Some others make nothing and drift though the game. If CJ did that he'd get pelters.

Watch it back he was shocking and the first half was as bad as he has been.
It's not available to watch back yet, I don't recall him having a particular stinker, got a few balls in without setting the world alight, 2nd half did pretty well, what's the issue?

I don't think he managed to control the ball once in the first half and invariably passed it to them.

His goal was great and that's the way I want him played with no defensive duties because the one thing he is good at we rarely allow him to do.

He's doing well overall, gets back and can defend to a degree with his pace, hard to beat, but obviously doesn't have ethe defensive nous of some defenders.

I don't think we could ask much more of him, he'll always be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but when he's a hit he'll unlock defences, others don't as much.

He’s always a threat because of his pace and like I said it’s not his fault because, for me, he shouldn’t be playing on the right. But for me, today, him and Carey were both the worst performers in what was a very good team performance.

All about opinions but I wouldn't have had him near the worst performers.

very good team performance today. Thought the tempo of our game was decent and that is key. Moving the ball a bit quicker. Stevenage committed a few cynical fouls but overall didn't they were too bad and played it on the deck a bit more than I expected them to.

Some really good performances today KK, OC, JR, JH but Pennington was also very good and he had the job of marking their no.5 at set pieces who is supposed to be very good at winning the headers. The only one he won in the first half was for the disallowed goal. All in all a very good team performance today 👏👏

They are fifth in the table and it was a comfortable win. The inverted wing-backs both scored, and Dougall is back to his best.
The only weak link was Carey, and he got in a good couple of goal-scoring positions only to miss, he needs
a couple of goals to get his confidence back.

Deserved win and comfortable. Team played well back 3 good and Grimmy spot on when he needed to be.
Jordan Rhodes is an excellent striker up there with Phillips and Bamber as the best finishers I have seen play in tangerine
12 games in only 3 defeats, get on a lengthy unbeaten run now and we will be in the mix for top 2 by end of year.

Pleased with the overall performance.

Glad we got a game during the international break for once. We seem to have a habit recently of performing badly after such a break.
Now we have three extra points, and I reckon we will get something at Oxford too.

For me, it was an average performance against a piss poor anti-football team but teams like that are never easy to beat so winning as convincingly as we did makes it a very good day at the office. We didn't look like we'd do anything but win convincingly all game! Most of the team stepped up and performed, the two wide players both continued their run of good form and Jimmy Husband continued to be the standout player in the team. I don't recall anyone ever scoring a goal for us with their chest before so, unless anyone can come up with another chested goal, welcome to the record books Mr Rhodes!

It’s the teams you don’t think much of who are often the most difficult to beat .. ie. Leyton Orient

Well we made pretty easy work of a supposedly difficult side in Stevenage, barley had many decent chances.

Thsoe previous games we were adjusting and hadn't scored many yet.
