Rebel news and Calvin from GB news asking reasonable questions yet all she could do was giggle and make silly jokes. No answers from her just a puppet.



 
I watched about half of that and, yes, the questions were reasonable, I think, regardless of which news outlet was asking them.

But whose ‘puppet’ is she ?

Ice caps melting, climate f*cked, rainforest disappearing and all they can do is bully a young girl.
Says it all - we are not capable of evolving our attitude in time to make a difference.
That should be the main issue here.

Why not challenge the worlds real polluters then. Would love to take her side show to China, India, or Russia. Instead we have to suffer.

Other than higher fuel bills, I can’t see anything particularly bad in that list.

Blaming fuel bills on Greta is a bit of a stretch.

I love how he finishes by trying to get funding for his channel by accidentally admitting his own team of reporters flew all the way to Davos from places like Canada, Australia, and USA only to realise his hypocrisy having questioned Greta on the same thing and saying "but only in economy class"!!!! 😂😂😂

He did not accidentally admit anything. He is not the one banging the drum. It could have all been done via online methods. Funny how the left embrace this BS.
 
what she is doing is really bringing home climate change to the young kids ie 12 and under. They are the ones who are left with the results of the past few decades of not my problem. What the f are gb news doing for the greater good.

Must be honest she is a slightly odd looking girl. Societally we put so much emphasis on physical appearance and image (guilty, obviously). I suspect if she was more conventionally pretty her arguments would get even more traction. Just a thought.

What's your issue? I'd love it for the climate crisis to be a load of nonsense but it isn't. She does a lot of good work highlighting the issues and is to be applauded. I could understand if you had a significant argument against what she does but you haven't. So, why the disdain?

- Greta delivering her open letter to the CEO’s of the major fossil fuel companies 🤔
- The journalists interviewing her 🤔

As for the bullshit, I’m not sure anybody has really embraced what you’ve been coming out with - tho’ I just spotted Mates and Jaffa putting their arms around you

Has she been campaigning in China and Russia? Does she get around places without polluting the atmosphere? Is what she eats and wear environmentally kind to the earth?
 
I really don’t understand the dislike (For want of a better word) that this young woman seems to generate from certain quarters.

Disagree with her if you like, ignore her if you so choose, but ultimately her aims & beliefs are a positive force towards a better tomorrow for future generations.

There are surely many more sinister & dangerous individuals at work in the world today who are more worthy of active concern & opposition than Greta Thunberg?

I actually think some of the questions were fair….especially around private jets and her carbon foot print.

If you are going to lecture….at least be clean yourself.

What countries has she flown to?

I’ve not been tracking her all over the world. I read some articles where she was in Germany recently protesting about a village being flattened to make way for a coal mine but not much else ….

I’d like to know what the travel options are besides a push bike and sail boat?

She’s traveled to 163 countries in her short life do you seriously think she’s walked to them all?
It was even publicised she went to America in 2019 on a yacht but without wind a yacht is totally useless it also has an engine that burns fuel.
A yacht has to use its engine to manoeuvre in and out of port so it’s not exactly totally green clean is it? So why bother?
Seriously I’ve nothing against this young lady but it’s impossible to live life totally green these days and not burn one gram of carbon but she really needs to go to Russia, China, India, (she’s done the USA) the real big polluters and tell them where’s it’s all going wrong.

I had no idea she has travelled to 163 countries.

I know she sailed to the US but you don't know if the yacht used it engine to motor at any stage of the trip.
All sailboats have a motor we know that but it doesn't have to be switched on, you just wait for wind ...... 😉

So what do you think powers lights on a zero emissions yacht?
A generator which uses liquid fuel the same liquid fuel that the main and back up engines use.
Like I said you just can’t escape using carbon/emissions no matter how hard you try even her.

That’s the nail on the head, just makes me a bit squeamish how certain folk have targeted her. Particularly when she was 15 or so, it seemed to me that her youth and naivety made her a less sympathetic figure for some when surely it should have had the opposite effect.
