To make matters worse, the wife had asked if I fancied an early night during the first half, but politely declined as I was watching the Mighty!

Missus also gutted. Every game home or away she does 3-1 to us and 2-2.

We were watching the game and when we went 2-0 down she said sod it I'm off to bed to read. So when we got it back to 2-2 I went to tell her to give her the option of cashing out. She got up and started watching the match again. Looked inevitable that we'd score again so I was monitoring the cash out offer and she said if it gets to 50 quid then cash out. It got to £49 and then yep we scored. Bet down..

Sadly my dad has late stage dementia, so spend most nights answering inane questions from him at 2/3/4am so was feeling a bit knackered.
