No barbers for 6 months so I'm shaving the lot off ASAP.

Anyone know where I can get some clippers without paying over 50 notes?

We don't own a lawnmower either.

Who says no barbers for 6 months they will be open we'll before that.
Everywhere sells clippers Argos, B&M, Supermarkets or just get some off Amazon.
 
Saw some in Asda this morning but decided against it in the hope that barbers will be able to safely reopen in the next 3 months or so (looks unlikely though)
May buy some soon or just wait; in which case I may then be in a position to enter a Roy Wood lookalike competition!

Fits easily in the hand, and easy to manipulate when you're working around the head doing a buzz cut.
 
Surely most baldies just shave the bit of hair off they have round the edges 🙃. and the rest of us can just leave to grow out a bit...👍
 
Got Wahl cordless & they’ve been fine for several years. Even did the dog with them. Just practice with a longer comb first as you can always take more off after, but it’s tricky to put it back if you over do it 🙄
 
I've had to make do with using my beard trimmer for my hair, but it takes ages as it's not as big or powerful.

I can't find any online that are in stock deliver, rather than click & collect. If anyone knows of a place, please let me know.
 
Bought a Wahl set of big clipper and a mini 4 years ago, with a set of spacers. Have never looked back, saved a fortune for my hair, and occasional dog use. Cost £130, paid back many times over.
 
I cut my hubby’s hair yesterday and he is over the moon with it and wants me to do it every few weeks now till barbers reopen. Happy days
 
Is it not best if those living together just gave each other really shit hair cuts so folk wouldnt leave the house so much?

Cut my own hair today. Scissors and razor.
Making the back look neat was the most difficult.
Turned out pretty decent, got to say.
Won’t be doing it again in a hurry. 😉

Not a bloody chance lol . Luckily I had my hair done in Feb so I’m okay at the moment and I’m on the list at my hairdressers for when they reopen.

Don't worry Neil, in 5 or 6 weeks it will have grown out.
Just don't look in a mirror for a few weeks. 😉
 
I’m hoping my barber will be back in action in a few weeks, though I don’t want to catch & pass on this Cahuna virus 😎

Guarantee hair cuts will go underground if they can't open. They need to make a living and there's enough waiting for a chop!

How many businesses will close if they can't open soon your looking at over 40k health and beauty shops in this country on the brink.
 
Of course barbers will be open in 6 months - do people really think the current situation can be sustained until November?
Sure there will still be restrictions in place but we have no choice
Risks of a second wave ( I know were still caught up in this one) are not worth thinking about as without hyperbole that would be a total game changer
