They did, everyone in the North and West saw it and the players did appeal it. With this ref booking everyone except the ball boys I think they were afraid of pushing it too far.100% handball. What I don’t understand is why none of our players appealed it ?
100% it did not, I was in the northIt went in off his head
Face and arm then - everybody is correct except the ref
think that's more face than arm.Clearly handball as there is no way it would of gone in off the side off his face
And the 2nd minute of 1 added time?Never mind the handball what about the offside?
No, a goalkeeper's attempted save does not represent a pass outwards. The man was offside when the cross was made and he scored from that cross. It's all part of one move.Maxwell played him onside when he palmed the ball onto him. It was an attempt to cut out the cross and not "save" a goal bound effort. Because it took place on the six yard line it could be deemed as not "close" to the goal, that part of the law comes under the fateful word "interpretation". If it had been a goal bound effort, he would have been offside.
I'm now inclined to agree, it was arm after face. It was also offside. It was also after the end of added time. Unfortunately, it was given as a goal. I'd rather Lavery put away at least one of the good chances he had. As for CJ's chance....sigh.No point arguing about it, IMO defffo arm after face, anyway it stood and we lost 1-0 move along.
