Harry & Meghan

Just watching the latest series of The Crown on Netflix and, while it’s not 100% reliable, it does remind you that Harry and Meghan aren’t the first to cause waves for the Royal Family.

Edward and Mrs Simpson
The Duke of Edinburgh had a reputation for enjoying parties.
Princess Margaret and her thwarted love affair with Group Captain Townsend, divorce from Snowden and various flings.
Charles and his affair with Camilla and his divorce from Di.
Di and her numerous flings.
Anne and her divorce from Foggy (not ours; the other one).
Andrew and his divorce from Fergie and his more recent shenanigans.

Gives you a sense of perspective.
 
In the dreadful Oprah Winfrey interview Megan said question about baby’s colour were made whilst she was pregnant but when Harry was allowed in he said it was before they married. People who tell fibs need to get their stories straight first. Americans seem to believe Harry & Megan’s rubbish but we Brit’s are mainly not take in. Read Tom Bowers amazing book that H & M have not taken him to court so it must be true

yep it does. That they are human and in a lot of respects behave just like millions of others.

Megan has cut off her dad who is not well and boasted she paid for her education and he has the receipts to show he paid thousands for it and has ghosted all her family(only her mother came to the wedding) and both of them rubished the royal family whilst the Duke and queen were dying plus he is ungrateful for everything his dad has done for him(thousands of pounds even when they fled to America

Think that's a bit of fabrication to be honest. Never heard a peep from them when the Queen was dying and both immediately flew back to the UK and were where they should be. Not a single bit of "look at me" at all.

Don't get the hate to be honest, just let them do what they want. Has absolutely nothing at all to do with any of us. Harry has earnt his right to a quiet life.

Quite right Kurt. It's funny how the 'our boys in the forces' lot are the most vocal against someone who really did 'do his bit' - as I'm sure you know through your past employment etc.

People just don't like the fact that Megan is not British and - in many cases - is not white. So they start up all the stuff about Harry being manipulated or gold digging and the like. You even have some suggestions - not on here - that they didn't care when the queen died. Pretty low digs in my view.

Give me Harry in America with his wife over Andrew in America with Hannah Montana any day of the week...

I’m not sure he was much of a father tbh. Sounds as if he was out of her life but reappeared suddenly when she took up with Harry. Thought he’d get a pay out from the tabloids for his hard luck story I expect.

Or get paid £millions but Netflix who are intent on humiliating the rest of the family with fictional depictions in pursuit of profit.

It's just a wee bit unnecessary.

Anyway, I really wish out media would just ignore them so I'd never have to hear about what they are up to.

There's plenty of others who say they hate the hypocrisy of those two whilst using them for clic bait.

It's all a bit distasteful really.
