Has a Blackpool keeper been our best player in a 5-0 defeat

yep, couldn't have been anyone but Maxwell. Thoroughly inept performance and Critch needs to take a long hard look at himself for putting out such an unmotivated team. And a choice of subs who were unlikely to do anything about it too, They really didn't deserve the applause they got from the magnificent fans at the end of the game.

I had Maxwell down for man of the match for Peterborough.
Just shows how everybody has different opinions
If he needs a lift to any club I,ll willingly take him

No one else was a contender. Poor all-round performance.

Personally I would of give it Garbutt if anyone. He made some good forward passes which has been missing from our defence lately. Greterson was another defender good on the ball, I never understood why Critchley didn't like him. As for Maxwell he's never been good enough and Ballard should of got player of the season last season. He never had anything to do that season. The defence should have been credited for those clean sheets. He makes standard saves look like hard work and doesn't command his box.

I though Dale played OK in the first half. He was trying to make things happen and was upended numerous times. He drifted out if the game in the second half but at least he looked like he was trying.

I seem to vaguely recall Blackpool losing 4-0 to Leeds and Tony Waiters saved three penalties but I maybe wrong
I think we lost 3-0 after having beaten Leeds 4-0 at home the previous week, I remember thinking as a young kid that we won 4-3 on aggregate ! But you're righy Tony Waiters did save 2 pens, a great keeper.

Just watched the highlights because from the away end I thought he might have been responsible for their second goal. He wasn't. Made some good saves so for me he was the only one remotely close to being man of the match.
