Heating engineer recommendations

Mrs TOON's aunty has moved back home from Australia to a bungalow in St Annes. Heating / hot water boiler has packed in, been told she needs a replacement. Can any AVFTT members recommend a competent gas engineer or company who can give a quote for the work (without her getting ripped off)

Darryl Kenyon. He's a Seasider through and through. STH and a great gas engineer as well as one of the good guys in life.

I'm very sceptical when it comes to this sort of thing. Have tried local tradesmen because I thought they would do the right thing, but this doesn't always pan out.
I have used a company called BHE based in Bolton but has engineers throughout the North West. They fitted a new central heating boiler for me and I was so happy that I asked them to return to service my gas fire and repair one of my freezers.
They provide a first class service, prompt courteous and at a reasonable price.
Call then on 01524 566450 . They cover from Keswick to Wigan. When you call you will be instantly impressed by their service..... and No I don't have any connection with them.
