Sadly has passed away. 90 odd games for us , probably best remembered for his goal against West Ham in the Cup
in 1971 ( Tony Green's match) .

Me too. A good solid, tidy left back iirc. One of the stalwarts of the team when I started going regularly.

When I think of those three players it evokes memories of having a kick about on Revoe Park with my mates when we noticed 3 guys walkingWhen Stan Mortensen was manager, he went up to Scotland and came back with Henry Mowbray, Tony Green, and Tommy Hutchison, spending approximately £16,000 between the three of them. Ah! that fourth goal against West Ham, Henry went charging up the left wing and slammed the ball home. He was a good'n.
RIP Henry.
