Alan nixon saying Holgate is available at Everton. I believe he is best mates with Jerry Yates and might know some of our ex Everton lot. Would be a decent loan signing at centre half or right back

Holgate is not good enough. Yes I know he plays for Everton but listen to toffee tv to get an appraisal of his abilities. Mistake ridden player.. We need a more experienced calmer head not a flapper.

The only thing more unbelievable than someone suggesting we'd have a chance at signing Mason Holgate is that someone thinks he's not good enough for us.

yep, I've no idea how good or bad he would be at Championship level but not sure he'd be interested in us as a loan and I doubt we could afford him.

My point was more that he's best mates with Yates but yeah as Leeds and forest are in for him he's obviously above championship level. Rhys Williams has played European football so not that crazy a thought.
