Should it return in all its glory at the same time as the schools?

Bearing in mind it used to be standing room only on big occasions, can they handle social distancing better than a bunch of pre 10s?

They have brought in strict social distancing but everyone else must meet the economic need.

Starmer’s forensic approach certainly works in an empty chamber. Probably won’t work in the bear pit we’ve all come to know and love.

The Speaker slapped JRM down in pretty short order.

But watch this space.

Because back in the 19th century where he lives, they don't have technology to enable voting at a distance.
But they did...they had pocket boroughs where the voters did what the Lord told them to do - no mass voting necessary. Also, wonderful rotten boroughs, returning MPs where the voter was the err, candidate.

My eldest teaches reception and is used to dealing with snotty nosed incontinent kids. She should be made speaker of the house. She'd scare the bejesus of of those silly sods in the house of commons.

Yeah blaggers and general ne’erdowells hate it.

It basically means attention to detail in the search for the truth.

Aka not easy to dismiss as “putrid”.
How very droll Mex, have I hit a nerve already hahahaha

I genuinely never thought I would say this but I am 100% behind Rees-Mogg on this - Parliamentary Democracy at its best, no absenteeism allowed all down to survival of the fittest (Please note - I don't recommend any other institution try this, particularly those with skilled workers)

After all, as Prime Ministers through history have shown, any key minister, when sacked can be replaced in 3 hours and suddenly become an expert in the department he has taken over. All parties have a massive queue of prospective candidates waiting to take over, so no issues with continuity.

Not like Doctors, Nurses, Teachers that take years to train. Lorry drivers take months , so many more examples

They(Parliament) should set an example and return en masse, its about 10 or so posts above but I heard it on the news today
Thanks
Well I hope they wear masks and wash their hands!

On reflection, he's only asking parliament to do what parliament are asking the public to do!

Good on him 👍🏻

Apparently 30 Tories accidentally voted for an amendment against the whip because they couldn't figure out the technology.

That's why he wants them all back in there because he's a technophobe
