I have checked the highlights but can't see the challenge that put Grimshaw onto a stretcher needs ozygen by their player who scored the winning goal. Was he booked.?
Game restarted with a drop ball. No foul according to the idiot in charge.I have checked the highlights but can't see the challenge that put Grimshaw onto a stretcher needs ozygen by their player who scored the winning goal. Was he booked.?
Caught him with his knee, foot nowhere near.Left his foot trailing which hit Grimmy in the mush ,then feigned injury for a few seconds no action taken by the ref .
Could have jumped over quite easily ,very naughty.Caught him with his knee, foot nowhere near.
Agree with that, looked blatant to me but everyone see things differently I think Archer was a very lucky boy.I’am not saying it was deliberate but he could have easily pulled out but he didn’t he knew exactly what he was doing which is very naughty indeed.
My views entirelyMy immediate thought was that Grimshaw was clearly getting to the ball well ahead of Archer, and Archer could easily have avoided any contact.
Whether he deliberately tried to do Grimshaw only he will know, but it certainly looked like he did.
So deliberate then. By choosing not to avoid the contact he chooses to endanger the goalkeeper. He has chosen to wantonly endanger the safety of a fellow professional.I’am not saying it was deliberate but he could have easily pulled out but he didn’t he knew exactly what he was doing which is very naughty indeed.
I don’t think for one minute he deliberately set out to put Grimshaw in hospital. So deliberate then. By choosing not to avoid the contact he chooses to endanger the goalkeeper. He has chosen to wantonly endanger the safety of a fellow professional.
No, I'm afraid there isn't. The important part is the decision. Once that is made, any outcome is on the table. The keeper in those situations is defenceless and at the mercy of momentum. Hitting him in the head isn't a guarantee, but certainly a foreseeable outcome.I don’t think for one minute he deliberately set out to put Grimshaw in hospital.
Yes he left his foot/knee in but there’s a big difference here.
We’ll we’re going to have to agree to disagree. No, I'm afraid there isn't. The important part is the decision. Once that is made, any outcome is on the table. So you dont think he could have jumped out of the way .We’ll we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
The incident has long gone it’s history and the man who counted (the referee) saw it differently.
Yes I do I’ve said that already on here and other threads. So you dont think he could have jumped out of the way .
He did apologise to him on twatter. But he’s still a C###Just posted this on the other thread ;-
Deliberate as far as I'm concerned. Dan had the ball in his control so I turned away before Archer made his challenge. This was obviously very late and avoidable. As such the ref should have taken action, and that action should have resulted in a sending off.
I have no time for their players , and no respect for cheats of which category Archer obviously belongs. His attitude stinks as demonstrated by his celebration of the goal, Absolutely no remorse shown and no respect for his fellow professionals.
I think he was going so fast he might not have been ableHe could easily have jumped over Grimshaw but decided to leave a boot in.
