How many in this week?

I’d say we’ll get two in this week - priority up front. I think the criticism of Beesley has been harsh considering he was out most of last season and it’ll take time for him to shake off those injury concerns again and with Joseph not around yet you’d like to think we’ll prioritise that place.

Sounds very much like Banks could be imminent and I'd be surprised if we didn't bring in a centre forward, be it on loan or permanent.

Whilst I agree to an extent about Beesley, he is basically starting from scratch and you can't expect him to be the player we signed, as of yet anyway. So we shouldn't look at him as a regular turn to player. He needs to be afforded time, whether that's from the bench, dev games or on loan, just don't overexpect in the First XI.

Beesley has basically had a full pre-season training and played in games with no hiccups.his injury should certainly not be used as an excuse.he needs to step up now and prove a point in the cup games and if used as a sub.

Would it not be better for everyone concerned to stop jizzing over the likes of Moxon , Banks and whoever else comes up until they're pictured on the official website wearing the tangerine in a done deal👍🏻
Do you know people who Jizz over footballers??

Must be strange circles you mix in 🤷 but each to their own I guess

There are 4 weeks till the transfer window closes, so Critch and the other coaches will now have a good idea of the
squad and where they think they need to strengthen. I fully expect at least 2 or 3 players to depart over the next four weeks.
I think we will sign a couple more players on a permanent basis, and a couple of loans. Unfortunately, I think apart from Virtue there may be
another couple of first-team players departing. This week will see one player signed.

I expect Banks, feeney the young lad from villa, and possibly Booth the trialist from the Hibs game with a least Virtue departing with a couple more to follow. I have no inside information by the way just snippets posted around.

I agree with what you've said also

Jay Walker winger in talks. Does mazy dribbles all over the pitch even in his own penalty area. Dubbed " the new Bowler",despite being as bald as a coot, Walker is currently on police bail after being arrested whilst going for a jog on the M55.

Maybe 2, I think Banks will be either today or tomorrow and maybe Feeney later in the week. I agree with the people saying we need a striker, but doubt that will happen this week. Hopefully next week though.

What makes you say that? Are you thinking Trybull and Lyons?

I think Lyons will be staying unless we get an offer we simply cannot refuse. We will be lucky if we keep Marv, Dougall, Trybull
and I would say, Gabriel although that is more doubtful because of his injury. I expect at least 1 maybe 2 to move on.
A lot will depend if they got a big pay cut with relegation but I reckon all 4 are proven squad players in the championship
and there will be interest from other clubs. We will be very lucky if the only important player we lose at the close of the transfer window from being relegated is Yates. I know I have ignored Anderson, Thorniley, and Maxwell but I suspect they would have all left regardless of staying up.

Anderson Thorniley and Maxwell ran their contracts down. You're probably right about Trybull Marv and Dougall. Vulnerable to better offers.

💯. I call it as i see it and don’t think Beesley is the answer up top as of now but hope i’m proven wrong. Ok he maybe is a little “rusty” but this “excuse” can’t last much longer.

Interesting to look at the business we've done:
Pennington, Norwood and (hopefully) Joseph are your first teamers
Morgan and O'Donnell probably Squad players
Virtue, Apter, Trybull, Beesley, Casey and Dale are practically new players because they either weren't here or were injured.

I'd say of the above 3/4 could be first teamers.
Yeah a striker would be lovely but actually we have in effective boosted the playing squad by 11 players over summer.

The squad numbers for the 2023/24 season can now be revealed.
Summer signings Matt Pennington and Ollie Norburn have taken the number five and six shirt, respectively. Albie Morgan will wear number eight, whilst Kyle Joseph will take the vacant number nine.

None.

Was in Booths tonight and there was black player in BFC training strip he was about 6 ft 2" and buying snacks for himself,

reckon he was early 20's. I don't recognize him, on his shorts was the letters SG. If I had put a bet on him I reckon he is a

forward.

Just been having a looking through the premier league academies and the player that I saw in Booths last night looks like Martial Godo,
who is a forward at Fulham U21's. I reckon the SG on his training kit must be kit that the club had from Simon Grayson.

Unless we can get Banks over the line then none.

No need to worry though. Still think there will be plenty of activity over the next few weeks.

This sounds entirely feasible so here are some clips of Godo playing for Margate in 21/22! With that generic wank music that seems to be an essential accompaniment to highlight clips nowadays. Margate are tier 7 I think. He's now Fulham dev squad. Sign him up.

Looks like he’s got plenty of skill and pace but on the downside obviously little in the way of experience.
If we do want to sign him let’s hope the deal is completed quickly and we’re not left waiting for Godo 😔.

We don’t want to be waiting for Godo….

His full name is Becket Fabrice-Martial Godo so he must be named after the great man!
