How many points will Luton get?

It's not important really if they get 20 and relegated or 50 and stay up.

What's important, is that they're a club a kin to the Pool and their legacy needs to be secured for the future fans - even if they only spend one season in the Prem.

I hope and pray that they have a set of honourable owners that spend the money wisely and invest in the clubs future, I truly wish them all the best.

Needless to say, that our legacy was squandered and stolen from us, hence we are where we are............

Many were predicting we would get less than 10 points in the prem.

I could imagine Chelsea Everton and villa getting relegated next season. Would make the championship interesting when we get hack

It makes me so ** angry the wet blanket, jealous supporters we have Mac. I am delighted for Luton, their supporters are in seventh heaven tonights and on a great journey, yet we are in League 1 and went down with a whimper and some of these wallopers who say they support the club think League 1 is where we belong...... Just FUCK OFF!!

Luton fans need to prepare themselves for a constant torrent of condescending and disrespectful comments - although I'm quite sure right now they couldn't give a damn. Actually, most will be legless at the moment I imagine. Good luck to them. They're now feeling how we felt 13 years ago, and it was incredible.
 
Some similarities to us in that they're a "smaller" club that made it to the PL.
It depends on what signings they make of course, because the team spirit /organisation will only take them so far in the Premier league. But I still reckon they'll get 35 points plus.

If they're lucky (as we weren't) they might stay up.. Either way, with decent owners they'll enjoy the benefits of PL football for years to come, whereas we had it taken from us.

As long as their Captain doesn't sulk for most of the second half of the season because he didnt get his transfer to Liverpool they will probaby do alright...Good luck to them ..
 
No big deal and I'm sure it can be discussed at some point but is "How many points will Luton get in the Prem" the sort of question that should be asked on the night of their magnificent achievement of being promoted to the Prem ?
 
I remember the old 606 board and how much congratulations we got from other clubs supporters when we got promoted to the prem. Would like to think we could be just as magnanimous towards Luton. If any group of fans knows how they’re feeling right now it’s us.

They'd get over 30 I reckon if they get any decisions from the refs. But they won't.

Already in the first half their fans were sounding outraged that Chelsea didn't get a yellow a couple of times. How very naïve of them.
 
I actually think they'll do alright.

I wouldn't really compare them to us, our promotion was much more "out of nowhere". They've been challenging near the top of the championship for a few years now.

What struck me about them when they beat us at Bloomfield Road last year was how hard working and solid they were, I know that was one of Nathan Jones' last games but their desire, toughness and hard work along with the tight cauldron that Kenilworth road will become will allow them to surprise some teams.

I think they might even stay up.
 
I always thought that Rob Jones was a decent CH…..with a mistake in him. He a very good Manager though.

Whilst noble sentiments, the more Clubs that go boobies up the better it is for well run Clubs like BFC.
