Why they sold 8k in two days when have we had that many homes in a friendly? Its a bit disappointing if we don't have as many as them?
When was the last time we had a regular 10k fan base? Why they sold 8k in two days when have we had that many homes in a friendly?
Keith Southern testimonial.
PL and the four year bounce after and still friendlies where poorly attended. When was the last time we had a regular 10k fan base?
Where are our loud and proud supporters, many on here are happy to laugh at anything Scotish but when they get the opportunity?
Have we sunk so low as a fan base to give our own supporters shit for not attending a friendly ? Poor form.PL and the four year bounce after and still friendlies where poorly attended.
Will you be there?
People aren't mad about friendlies, it'll be mostly full in the home areas by close of sales, bar the corner. Its a bit disappointing if we don't have as many as them?
It's diabolical especially when you can 100% guarantee the O/P won't be there.Have sunk so low as a fan base to give our own supporters shit for not attending a friendly ? Poor form.
I would 110% be there it if I lived anywhere near Blackpool. I'll be in Whitstable on the North Kent coast.PL and the four year bounce after and still friendlies where poorly attended.

Isn't this your opportunity to stick it up the Scots but... to their facesIt's diabolical especially when you can 100% guarantee the O/P won't be there.
He's better sticking to Tory bashing and calling those who voted for Brexit idiots.
Married to a Scottish lass been together nearly 30 years regularly visit family 3-4 times a year up there.Isn't this your opportunity to stick it up the Scots but... to their faces
I have a few Scottish mates, all well read and politically sound.Married to a Scottish lass been together nearly 30 years regularly visit family 3-4 times a year up there.
Stop digging.
Remember Bilbao,we won but they were superbMust admit that friendlies don’t exactly whet my appetite anymore. As a kid it was incredible when we played Athletic Bilbao or got a friendly against what was then considered a ‘big’ team (at the time Blackburn) but the reason me and the old man are going tomorrow was primarily just to give him an excuse to get out for a pint but also to see how the new signings are shaping up…. So that hasn’t exactly worked out ! Next season I hope we can try get something a little more interesting lined up to attract a decent home crowd. Hosting a big European club at Bloomfield Road would be quite a spectacle again.
The N, corner and west holds a bit over 7k. We've got aprox half of block Q so call it 7k capacity.Be lucky if 3000 get sold.
None of my season tickets chums bothering. Lack of any new faces will have hit sales too.

Calling. Why, who voted for Brexit idiots?
A very good point. No, we wouldn't otherwise play Rangers and it's a chance to see how Appleton's Pool are developing.Chance to to see Rangers who we would never otherwise play. Chance to watch from different part of ground ( clutching at straws cos no signings... yet anyway) basically a chance to watch BFC on a Saturday afternoon, mean two of us (season ticket holders) will be traveling down from Cumbria as usual
i agree. I’m going tomorrow and Salford but that’s been it for me.Have we sunk so low as a fan base to give our own supporters shit for not attending a friendly ? Poor form.
Surely for friendlies it’s each to their own, if you want to go then fine, if you feel you need a few more weeks with the family then fine, I’ll be there, at Salford, and at Everton, but the Business starts on July the 30th.i agree. I’m going tomorrow and Salford but that’s been it for me.
Rangers reached a European final this year. Are Rangers not a big European club? I'd say they are a massive European club with massive world wide support including thousands in Blackpool.Must admit that friendlies don’t exactly whet my appetite anymore. They are. But they’re on the same level as when Fulham reached the European cup final. They’re just not an exciting draw. Perhaps it’s because the SPL is about on par with the EFL and because as much as Rangers and Celtic may try they’d never be much more than a mid-table Prem team. Maybe it’s because they’re only up the M6 and the thought of playing them seems quite normal. Maybe it’s because we’ve played them recently(ish). Either way Rangers just aren’t an exciting pre-season friendly. They’re a massive club with a global fan base just not an exciting big European club as I’d define it.Rangers reached a European final this year. Are Rangers not a big European club? Feyenoord, Seville, HSV Hamburg, Boavista, Fiorentina, Bordeaux etc. These are clubs probably much smaller than Rangers or Celtic but in my eyes and I imagine most Pool fans would be a lot more exciting than Rangers.
They'd struggle to make the play offs in the championship.Rangers reached a European final this year. Are Rangers not a big European club? I'd say they are a massive European club with massive world wide support including thousands in Blackpool.
