1958 was the year of our World Tour including Africa, Australia and the USA plus a game with Barcelona en route, hence the Mighty Blackpool being formed that year.

Yeah pulled that badge from google as it showed Sierra Leone on it, but their official badge doesn't and on wiki it mentions 1954 as the time they changed their name.

Don’t think I’d be tempted to buy his kidney.. he looks suspiciously like he suffers from high blood pressure to me 😉

Thats probably what a diet of butter pies does...

Also imagine you did get the kidney and when Preston score you feel it moving.....

But mostly you'd hear a faint booing coming from the area....

Sir Stan Matthews coached in South Africa between 1953 & 1978 SM gave up his summers to coach in Africa , South Africa being one
of the areas he coached. That might be reason for Blackpool FC in Africa.

Yes I must admit there is something in the deepest recesses of my few remaining brain cells, about kits being sent somewhere. But whether it was to Mighty Blackpool or not.... They are the most successful in Sierra Leone.

Just think it wouldn't do any harm at all to have some form of link up especially given why they changed the clubs name.
