How many to Bristol?

4 of us wanting to go but waiting to see about this Covid Passport stuff to enter grounds as we won’t have had both vaccines by that point.

Rather annoying

proof of test etc is giving people a excuse not to go to a game. Is worse for me because I am so behind with technology.

Had it not been a bank holiday, with the trains running and overnights had been reasonable, I would have gone, it's a great City, but sadly, no, I won't be there.

Bought 2 this morning and we are travelling from Lincolnshire. I think there will be more than some think, including those that live in the south and midlands. First game back in the championship and not much chance to holiday abroad. I think the club can have up to 2500 tickets.

3 of us driving down and staying over at some friends in Cardiff for the weekend. £10 return to get into Bristol , but not ideal having to catch 2 replacement buses from Bristol Parkway to get near the ground.

The indications are that if they do introduce a vaccine passport it will well after the Bristol match. Technolgy just not in place at clubs yet to read the NHS QR codes

Perhaps I’m taking your comment the wrong way, but, we’re not using it as an excuse. We’re bang up for going, it’s been planned for a while. The uncertainty around ‘passports’ has made us think twice and maybe leave it until the last minute.

Oof! You forgot “the dog ate my homework Sir” Wilf! Not like you to miss games I’ll give you that, but its no Bank Hol, unless its Yarkshure Dae again over there.

Not being put in place until later in the year. You'll be fine.
Hopefully, but when you’re spending £100 and there’s only scant info on the passports and none on any potential refunds I’d be daft to just blunder in and buy them now.

I know what you mean mate but I reckon you'll be fine.

I'm gonna grab mine on Wednesday, bit easier from Swindon for me mind.

Theres one teacher who uses the 'the dog ate your homework' excuse to blob on Peterborough but we wont mention his name.

Live in Rotherham so can’t get a coach
Bus service from Bristol Parkway so can’t get a train

Gods have conspired against me for this one, I’m afraid. If Yorkshire Seasiders we’re running a coach be all over it. Sadly they aren’t

Aye think you’re right and we’ll end up there.

Ah I’m only 60 minutes from Bristol myself, I could just see myself buying the tickets, then the next day being told I needed a passport which I wouldn’t be in time for, and just standing there with mild silent rage to myself. 😂.

Joe, if I drive I can pick you up from Parkway and drop you back off there? Does that help? DM me.

That guy in Mansfield is going and said he wouldn't mind people jumping in with him.

Bank Holiday?....but no I won’t be there other than in spirit though I have been previously.
Have to concentrate on home fixtures in the main these days.
I told my better half a few years back that I would cut back on my attending games as I am getting on a bit ( 70 now) and even a home game is a 120 mile round trip( and yes I know there are many who do much further) but you younger folks can take up the challenge because I certainly did when I was.
First game for me will be Cardiff then Coventry...at home.
First away game ..no idea right now.

Gotta be honest I’ll be swerving it in favour for getting a few members of family round having a few beers watching it on ifollow.
