How many to Stoke?

And after reading this thread, I won’t be participating in it anymore.

People moaning about standing, not being able to sit in allocated seats etc.

Jesus Christ.
Tbf it’s one person complaining.
If they want to sit in peace and quiet go to home games in the south or west. We have a reputation for creating a brilliant atmosphere away from home and they can piss off if they think they we are turning into a Fulham or Peterborough type of away support.

TBF, TinyTractor is autistic and doesn't like to be sat right in the middle of a loud crowd, especially if he's near a few people who have had a bit of liquid refreshment before the game - at home games, we're in our safe little area where he's comfortable. For away games, we have to plan - if the club are going to enforce seating where the tickets say, we make sure we get tickets in an appropriate place. We make sure that we'll be allowed to move if our seats aren't appropriate, and we make sure there are going to be spare seats in that situation. I always have an email from the club to that effect in case of issues with jobsworth stewards.
Most clubs say that the seats are allocated and you could be asked to sit in them, but if the visiting club isn't letting you choose seats and just allocating them one after another, then that is highly unlikely to be enforced.
For the Stoke match, Stoke suggested which seats might be most appropriate for us, but BFC wouldn't sell specific seats to us until they were actually selling that block. In reality, when we get there, we'll find seats right on the edge somewhere, and in the worst case we'll end up in the wheelchair seats. But it is something we have to consider and factor in for any away matches we want to go to, and if the home club isn't really flexible or accommodating, we don't go. The differences in the way home clubs operate for stuff like this would amaze you.

Bleach is one of the the world's good people. Spent many a great away trip with him over the last 'n' years.

I forgot to add...
Unless some tall character in the seat in front of him is tall and stands up all game :)

You sound like a good dad mate. Good on ya.

I went and collected my ticket yesterday and was informed there’s around 300 left of the additional 800. Which, if my maths is correct, means around the 2100 mark sold at midday yesterday. I reckon it’ll be around the 2300 number of us there Saturday.

Saturday has all the right ingredients to be an excellent atmosphere.
I think the atmosphere is a given - we need an in the mood display (we have virualLy no defence) and anything gained wo uld be massive especially a win

Tickets off-sale now. Does anyone have a spare they would part with?
Just got confirmation I have the day free, and my alternative for a footy fix is Spalding vs Ilkeston.
Help!!!

Could do with another spare ticket for someone. It’s crap how they don’t make a few available to pay on the day when there’s seats spare.
