Can't remember if this was discussed in the BST Survey but would promotion affect whether you buy an ST or not?

Only ever had a season ticket in the premiership season.

If we weren't in the midst of a pandemic it wouldn't have mattered a jot , everyone would have been at Wembley that wanted to go this time round.

I think if we got to the Championship I would DEFINITELY buy one - if we don't then I'll see where we are in August but edging towards will likely buy one. As most exiles will tell you, it's hard enough in normal circumstances - I probably get to 8 home games a season but to guarantee tickets for some of those Championship games I'd buy one.

Been a season ticket many years, the reason I wouldn't get one this year is that I would rather spend time with my young family and go to matches when I can. With having other things going on Saturday mornings, was finding I was out from 8:30am then not back till 8pm, or if went out with Jerry the early hours of Sunday morning.

I've had well over 30 season tickets but didn't get one for the 2012/13 season because of the Oystons. My last two home matches were wins over Leeds 2-1 and Ipswich 6-0, when we were top of the Championship. This was because we never spent money in the August 2012 transfer window. Six and half years later came the Southend home coming, and I have had a season ticket ever since, and will do as long as I am physically able to.

IF Blackpool get promoted you won't need a season ticket to guarantee getting on the ground. Think we averaged 13000 last time we did well in the championship.

It's worth it for me to keep my seat in M Block. Me and friends were there until we were effectively chucked out by Oyston pricing the tickets at £900+. It was great to get back there last season and I don't intend moving again.

But this isn’t the same as last time. We’re a different club.

Also there’s a distinct possibility capacity may well decrease (temporarily) in the not so distant future... and that may make getting tickets a fair bit trickier

I won’t be renewing either way

It costs me more then a price of a ST to get to each game I bought one this Season because I thought the Club would need all the money it could get with no fans

i still will be spending a fortune as always in the Club shop & will just pay as i go in regards the tickets

That's exactly where I was until the scum decided to charge me £900 for the ticket I was in there for years. I presume M block is full again now is it ?

Its a no brainer. Had a season ticket for years apart from the boycott times. I love our club!

I think this season will have taught many fans an important lesson - show the club loyalty through thick and thin and they will do the same to you. Amuses me people are thinking of spending £299 on corporate when for £259 (I think that's what I paid) you could have had a season ticket!

I simply couldn’t afford season tickets this past year with my buisness closed for the past 15 months and no source of income but now we’ve been able to reopen im definately buying our season tickets regardless of which league we’re in. Had season tickets for years apart from the 4 years or so that we boycotted
We now have an owner that cares and I think that in itself deserves the full support of us Blackpool fans.

The most positive thing about the last year for me was people buying STs with no guarantees at all. You find out who the really committed ones are in situations like this.

I spent many years away, down South (working most week-ends) and in France.
Even if we were in Div 2 I'd buy one.
Missed too many years and don't know how long I'll be mobile enough.

Bit of a silly question, how many people who are signed up to this forum are really going to turn around and say ‘I will only buy a season ticket if we get promoted’😂clearly if we get promoted some of the marginal supporters will be swayed to purchase one. As an exile I will only consider one if it is linked to i follow, otherwise it’s pay when I can travel up to Bpool.

Because it gives someone a job in Corporate🧑‍🍳

I genuinely think after this season and sadly so many fans missing out on Wembley (thus revenue for the club) that fans should be looking at rewarding Sadler by buying a ST. I don't get to many games at all but I'll be buying one regardless.

I'll be buying my two season tickets regardless.
Sadler has put his money where his mouth is.
Exactly this. It was the other side of the coin that stopped me buying one in 2015 when the club made no effort at all. If there is a clear sign of intent at the top, then I'm happy to do my bit.

I sat in M until the £900 demand came in. (The back seats in the block were offered at £600 I think!) I was working abroad. Kept contacting the club by email to ask how they would help me pick another seat. The response - find the best seat you can wherever you can. When I got home - three tickets needed - I ended up in the East Stand. In those days the loyalty in the club was from us, the fans, but never reciprocated from “the family”. Now, it is a joy to have a season ticket.
