Hurty words officially a hate crime

Bradford council have just released pictures of the proposed upgrading, and I say that with tongue on cheek, of Shipley centre. It includes DWARF walls. You couldn't make it up.

Some of my best friends are dwarf’s so I find that quite insulting, although I honestly can’t pronounce dwarfs I pronounce it derworths so it’s just Brian, Alan & celia to me, size really doesn’t matter (unless off course you’re a racehorse with very short legs obviously)
 
What if a Landlord asks his tenant to pay the rent? Saying "can you pay your rent boy" seems a perfectly acceptable use of the term.
 
Not sure why rent boys is deemed homophobic. They could just as easily be straight lads selling themselves to fund their other lifestyle choices. Its not a nice thing to be chanting at someone but it seems unless they can pin it to a protected characteristic they can't do anything about it.
 
What about "You're only here for the gay bars?" I doubt the courts would rule that homophobic - it could be true!

However, Preston singing, "Your Mum's a crack-whore, your dad's a queen,"is both misogynistic, addict-phobic and homophobic. Shame on you, Nobbers! Get with the times!
