I wouldn't be an expert on such matters and don't want to come across as busy but maybe try and sleep the Uri off, drinking is not good for the emotions.

The support I’ve had both on here and through some amazing pms has been overwhelming at times but vital. You’re in the right place on here... l’m sure I’m not alone in saying, if I can return your kindness in anyway , anytime.. I will.👍

I won’t be on the Uri again for another year so we can all stand down 🤣

Would be boring if we all had the same views on everything.
I accept that not everyone hates Mayo. It's their body to self-destruct if they so wish.
Sometimes the board is lacking when it comes to respecting differences. I think we can all try and be a bit better in that regard.
Lala - is this another run chase? ;-)

You were right to both mourn & celebrate at the same time & should you need them, you have plenty of anonymous Seasider friends on here.
I haven't drank for ages, but did with my wife last night, to celebrate that fantastic result - I didn't go crazy and was asleep by 10:30! 🍊🧡

I think I pre-empted a bad weekend and made it worse by handling it the wrong way 🫤
I don‘t work Mondays so am having a lovely day with my granddaughter as it’s half term.

Just seen this Lala, sorry, it's hard to keep track of notifications sometimes but thanks a lot for your kind words. we all love you too and hope you're ok.

Anyway, glad you got through the tough day, Lala, with minor bruises! You have become a very important member of this board, in fact your recent Friday night run chases have put Blood and Phill into the shade, not even relying on a couple of posters falling out to bump the score. Your girls are very lucky to have you, and so are we.

Got a tough day one week today, my wife's Mum died one year ago and I know she will take it hard. Got day off to be with her, we don't drink so a bit of retail therapy planned, and some fresh air / dog walking.Keep telling myself it's only one day.

Thanks Mossy 🥰 and thinking of you and your wife next week. Anniversaries are rubbish. I don’t know why as it’s only another day but it’s what our emotions pin to it isn’t it. I’ll deal with it better next time, I made it worse by having a drink and inviting the tears in. Made me realise why I don’t drink though, from the first 30 minutes of feeling good it’s then 24 hours of misery for me. Me and alcohol do not get along at all.

As I said thinking of you next Monday, nice of you to take the time off to spend with your wife 👍 And retail therapy sounds like one of the better distractions to get through the day ❤️
