I agree. But we may have also made a big financial commitment. We don't know so to say with certainty that we haven't spent anything is speculation. My *guess* is that Forest would have wanted to recover some of their outlay.

If it isn't Sadler that wants to sell, then fans like you will end up driving him to it.

Whilst this seems like deadheads on Twitter and message boards. I’ve been told today that one of Sadler’s family members has been getting grief through her publicly available work email and phone number, centred around him selling - calling him a fraud and wanting an update.

She works in Preston, my mate that told me knows her pretty well through her line of work so yeh this is just in the realm of rumour to everyone else but me, but It’s now entering a disgraceful stage, we have some horrendous people following the club.

Every club has horrendous people following them and social media is full of horrendous people hiding behind their keyboards full stop.

Yes but these are our horrors and hassling a guy’s family who has done more for the club than anyone else in maybe half a century. Appalling.

I don’t ever claim to be ITK because I’m not. But this is ridiculous and I fear might drive him to look to leave the club.
 
This is getting ** ridiculous, Simon Sadler has done more for the club in the past few years than anyone has done in the last 30 years.

The way that people are openly accepting rumors at face value and gleefully discussing his exit like the club need to get rid to move on is beyond obscene now.

So he wasn't able to make a couple of big name signings these past two transfer rumors like he did in League 1, so what? Look at the big picture here, take all of the context of his reign and actually tell me that he isn't one of the greatest things to happen to this club. You can't.

The amount of finger pointing his way which has ultimately led to these rumors has actually reached a detrimental level.

It's not just about people having opinions and being able say what they like, it's about genuinely stirring up shit to hurt the club.

Some of you are in your 40's, 50's and 60's acting like you're 12 years old and it needs to stop now.

You haven't missed anything as there has been no concrete reporting or announcement from anyone, everything being discussed is conjecture and rumor.

It may be true that he is looking to sell, but we already went through this in November when there were rumors of him selling and it ended up being a complete lie, which is the problem, people feel emboldened to spread whatever they please in order to gain views and it's gotten to the point where it is genuinely hurting the club.

What if Sadler isn't actually looking to sell, how do we think he's feeling after giving up so much to have to contend with monthly rumors of him selling up/ not being committed? It's toxic and hurting everybody involved with the club.

We have no clue what is true or not, but it does more harm than hurts to spread rumors, so it's best to just sit back and worry about the things us fans can control, making this club has as positive of an atmosphere as possible to help the team finish 21st or above this season.

Already hearing a rumour - yes that all it is...that the "Training Ground" project is at least on the back burner due to the rising costs of it all?

This rumour about a club going on the market for 12 million! Who knows hey 🤷
 
rumours and tittle tattle that start off in some idiots empty head , gets put on social media , spread about like chinese whispers and then a whole pleb of lemmings fall into line believing it to be true . just a bunch of saddos with nothing better to fill their time with other than pretending that they know something . this message board is getting worse by the day
 
Living in Hong Kong he will know lots of potential investors, might be doing his homework now if we get promoted to the Prem.

Just looked and Hong Kong has most billionaires per million if that is up to date. He mmust know these fellow countryman. Must be a great place to llive and have friends with so much wealth.

How come? Even if the stories that he is looking to sell turn out to not be true, the point still stands that we have an injury prone squad filled with loans, and the training ground that they have been harping on about for 3/4 years still hasn’t been started?
