If Sadler is really looking to sell

Then I will fly the Wally back to Hong Kong myself.

Takes over the club, promises us the world, new training ground/new stand etc etc, and we haven’t heard a peep in months. False promises to shift season tickets, where have we seen that before??

A squad lacking in quality put together on the cheap, loans, free transfers, injury prone cast offs, again - where have we seen that before??

I’ve been saying for months something is very off at the club. Let’s just hope Mick can keep us up whilst we look for an owner who will actually put the club first and finally deliver on a new training ground, rather than just stringing along the fan base.

The club is not for sale. SS expected to invest 30/40 million on new training ground and East Stand.

Utter rubbish! Where have you been? We have been kept informed of the capital projects all the way, including as recently as this January.

‘expected to’ he’s been saying this for well over 12 months now, and still nothing concrete other than a few drawings

Ohhhh I see. There was me (with no knowledge in planning fairly large development) that it takes longer then 12 months to even find the land and secure it let alone everything else that goes along with actually building the projects.

I sometimes wonder why the club don’t simply look on this board to get Coaches, players, owners, developers, scouts. We have some serious experts on here in all those areas.

If Sadler does decide to sell, then we are all in capable hands right?

Do you actually have a pilots licence?

After 30 years of Oyston ownership, I'm absolutely amazed that there are any Blackpool fans, of all people, that can't tell a good owner from a bad one. Even more astonishing is the eagerness of some to see one leave who we know actually does have the best intentions of the club at heart, considering what has gone before.

For reference:
Sadler is a good owner who's already invested several £m of his own money, but made one or two mistakes along the way.
Oyston was a bad owner who prioritised his own fortune ahead of any club improvements because he didn't actually care.
Here endeth the lesson.

The only difference between Sadler and Oyston is that Sadler hasn’t started legal proceedings against fans yet.
There are similarities in every other aspect with the way the club is run.

Tbf to the op, sadler has once again spent no money in this transfer window, despite the money he got for bowler and critchly. Say what you like about the oystons but they did actually pay for players. He has no money, wake up and smell the coffee, it will all come out in the wash.

All good business men buy clubs that lose money . They pay large wages to on loan prem players . They employ new managers with biggish names just to waist more money . They pay 4 year comp to previous managers just to waist more money and they pay for a temporary training ground before promising a new one. Then when he has spent all this money he puts the club up for sale to probably sell at a loss . I don't think thats good business. There is more chance that the nobbers will be a prem club then SS selling in the near future.

All this shite started from a 1 paragraph note from Nixon, the well known bullshit artist who writes for the most discredited rag in the UK. He did not even name the club however, Huddersfield went up for sale the same day. I wish people would leave well alone and let us get on with making this club the best it can be.

Be nice if Simon came out once and for all and said he his in it for the long term, a rallying cry to stop up and definite timescales for the TG and East Stand. I know he has said before he is committed but it worries me we have not heard personally from him for a while.

I think it's very possible he is looking for buyers / interest. Why do I think this? He's obviously from a financial investment related background. He's realised that it's really difficult to balance the books with wages and fees for players. Since Critch walked, the feel good factor went with him due to the appointment of Appleton, and he started feeling the pressure to deliver more than ever from some fans.

The improvements that Simon Sadler has made are everywhere you look, so I think the OP is either a nobber or a little prat. The pitch, the stadium, the temporary improvements at Squires Gate, the engagement with the local community, land acquired for a new training ground and that's before we compare league position and squad strength when he took over.

Is he looking to sell or seek additional investment, I wouldn't have a clue but we can't keep asking him for a statement every time someone posts on here or social media. I've seen the Tweets from Cass on Twitter and it doesn't really help anyone, if he does have inside info and there is a statement due soon, then let Simon and the club do that without causing a sh!tstorm. Mr Sadler is owed a debt of gratitude for what he's done over the last 3 years or so, certainly not some cretin on here having a pop because he's not in a position to bankroll us like some middle east state.

He has said on numerous occasions that he is in it for the long haul. Whether that has changed or not I don't know but we can't expect him to keep reassuring us like some needy love besotted teenager every 2 weeks.

Actions speak louder than words and for me he has put his money where his mouth is so far 👍🏻

This chump has to be an Oyston surely ?

No money spent in the transfer window? Do we know how much we are paying for Bowler's services? Didn't realise he came free of charge.
In theory he could be free, or freeish. There was nowhere he could play football this season, absolutely nowhere. Forest would still be paying him whatever and would have a player stagnating. If they stay up and Bowler is surplus (likely) then It's very much in their interests to send him here (and hope we wanted him) so he's still in the window come summer.

I see that the same rumour that has been going round for a year without any evidence is back again
