Would be a very good person to have around as he is the ultimate professional

I wouldn’t want him tbh. Has done really well for us, and seems like a top pro.
But his lack of pace made us predictable, and at his age with another injury in the tank I think our money would be better spent elsewhere.

I'd say it's Hobson's choice at the moment!
Depends how much he wants but to have him 'around the club' and as an option, I'd sign him ahead of all our current strikers.
Opposition and fans know he's 'one of those players'.

To be honest, I don’t think they’ll go down.

They’ve won the second fewest number of games in the division (above Rotherham, who are doomed), but their draws mean that are just above the drop zone.

Rhodes seemed to be teaching young Kouassi a lot when they played together so I would think there might be some coaching to be offered to get him here.

You'd snap his hand off for a new deal.
If you think about his injuries - both have been caused by other players and he's not just pulled up like half our squad seem to,

Forget the 2nd half of the season. Rhodes was excellent for us in the 1st part of the season and a big reason we are at least where we are in the table.

What makes you think League 1 udders cant afford him but we can? At his age he's not going to be demanding as high a wage as some of there first team players in the championship.
