ifollow procedure

I'm not sure if things have changed re-codes for ifollow for tomorrow night. Can anyone advise if we're still getting codes.

The "apply code" box still appears on the "purchase pass" web pages.

Apologies in advance, I'm old and confused!
 
I am a season ticket holder and I have purchased a pass (without a code!)...seams to have charged me £10 tho'!

The club said make sure the email address you have associated with the eticketing is correct. To which mine is. I will be logging on earlier than usual just in case there are problems. In fact I may contact the club again today for clarification.

I've contacted the ticket office and received the following response:

"Unfortunately, you will need to contact EFL on iFollow@efl.com to request a refund.

When you login to iFollow and click on your account details, if you click on purchased packages it should say you're a season ticket holder for Blackpool this will then allow you to watch the home league games free of charge. This will show as watch live around an hour before kick off"

Note, "it should say you're a season ticket holder", but it doesn't...even though I am.

So, it must be my fault for being old and stupid and I'll just have to sort it out myself...

Perhaps the web page could be simplified to include a "Purchase Pass (for Season Ticket Holders)" button!

I read that as going straight to the watch live button rather than 'buying' the game even with a code.

Should be an interesting evening tomorrow. After charging me for the MK Dons game, I've had an email back from the EFL saying a refund will be in place 5-7 days onwards.

OK...I said I was old and stupid!

Maybe the ticket office should advise Season Ticket not to buy a pass, as they can just sign in and watch, if that's the case.

Let me know if it works, please.
 
Just had a look and when you go to "ifollow" - "next match" there's no request for payment just says video available about 1hr before kick off.
All the other things are in place as illustrated above.
 
I have a code as well but never used one yet with having a season pass with them.
It says in the mail the system will be upgraded soon.

There is a significant difference. Your screenshot shows the option to buy a Video Match Pass, mine doesn't
Have you checked in your account under "Packages" to see if you are identified as a season ticket holder? (as per the screenshots higher up the thread?)

Yes that's what I thought & this is what it shows in purchased packages. I've just emailed the club as I don't want to find out tomorrow night that it doesn't work, or I'll have to pay again & request a refund. Cheers.

Maybe you are in the same boat as a couple of others above?
I'd keep checking but you are wise to e-mail the club. I'd even been inclined to follow that up with a phone call in the morning. They are always extremely helpful in my experience.
 
The club web site has just posted an important update for season ticket holder:

1. Log in to iFollow on the Club website

2. Click your name in the navigation bar to get to the 'My Account page'

3. Click the + sign next to 'Purchased Packages'

If you have been granted access, you will see 'Season Ticket - Blackpool' listed here.

Please note: this cannot be checked on the EFL iFollow app.

Season ticket holders are kindly asked to check these settings as early as possible, in order to allow any potential issues to be addressed in advance of kick-off.


If access has been granted, then head to the match centre via either the website home page, or the 'next match' link on the iFollow dropdown menu, to watch the game.

Season ticket holders who are yet to align their ticketing and iFollow accounts with the same email address are reminded to do so by following these steps:

Step One:

  • Check the current email address listed on your Blackpool FC ticketing account by visiting eticketing.co.uk/blackpoolfc. Please login as normal and update your information where necessary.
Step Two:

  • Please ensure that you login in to your iFollow account using the same email address. If you are unable to login using that email address, then a new, basic iFollow account must be created. Your email address needs to be the same as the one used in relation to your season ticket.

Just in case anyone else is in my boat, I had a code emailed to me as usual as a STH, but no STH status on my account for some reason. The club said just to use the code for tonight's match, so it might be that they've not got round to doing them all yet.
 
The only niggling little doubt I have (on behalf of others) is Sooty's screenshot that shows in the bottom right
"Buy a Video Match Pass".
My equivalent page doesn't show that option.
Maybe others can check what they have showing?

Make sure you log in to iFollow on the BFC site, NOT the iFollow site.

i have that option too.
 
Just for info., my account has been edited since yesterday. I now have Season Ticket "Active".

I've logged in and it's working perfectly. 👍

I've also received an e-mail from EFL (i-follow) who have apologised for any inconvenience and promised a full refund within 3-5 working days.

I'm happy with that outcome. Here's hoping for a happy outcome tonight!
