it's a pretty much relentless campaign on here against him though.

I'd agree that I'm not sure how he got in team of the week. One very good save with his feet, one other diving save which you'd expect him to make and then really not much else after that in his favour. Yep, he flapped at a cross - no big deal really - and he was at fault for the penalty so as you say you'd think there would be a better goalkeeping performance somewhere else. Now all that said, I stand by what I said. There is an agenda against him on here. Maybe even linked in to the anti Appleton campaign with the manager currently favouring him over Grimshaw. And yes, Grimshaw shouldn't have been dropped over the Xmas period.
 
Prefer Grimmy but Maxi made two outstanding saves, although really should of been quicker of his line for the 2nd
 
Nothing against the guy no agenda from me . I have always considered Maxwell a reasonable league 1 keeper but not in a million years Championship quality . The o/p is quite frankly ridiculous.
