Kenny's departure will have much less of an effect on us having not played him this last month and so do you agree with the way management handled it?

We don’t know what goes on behind the curtains.
Who is to blame is anyones guess.
What we can now say, with absolute certainty, is that after what had become something of a protracted saga, the point has been reached where we can confidently state, without fear or contradiction, that it's well and truly curtains for Kenny - regardless of whether he's standing behind them or in front of them ...

The club and Critch have obviously been pissed off with something that’s gone on given his all of a sudden 'he's got personal issues' following some great performances for us.

Considering we actually know nothing about what’s been going on apart from he has now gone, for a fee, 6 months before he could have left for free, who knows. There has been a lot of stuff made up about him and his attitude, and it is disrespectful to a good servant of the club.

We’ve played well without him, protected him (and us) by not letting him get injured and focussed on the players who want to be here.

Absolutely the correct decision.

Yes we can. He wanted a move to more exotic climes with his fiancée. So his, his fiancée and his agents fault.
BFC is a professional Club. The player is/was a professional footballer. I expect both to act in that professional manner. That means putting on the shirt, putting a shift in and caring 100% about the result- not whether he left the ski lift passes back at the hotel.

I'm not sure about this skiing tale. What club in their right mind would allow a professional footballer to go skiing in the middle of the season ? Who would insure him against injury ? I could be wrong but if the club did allow it, then the club would be the frontrunners in the ' arseholes of the year ' competition !

He is supposed to have got engaged over Christmas in the Italian mountains.

Why play him if he doesn't want to be here anymore. If Critchley does pick him for the first team, what's to stop Dougal just jogging around the pitch trying not to get injured

There is no way a club would allow that! It's usually in their contract regarding sports considered to be dangerous like cycling, motorbikes and even swimming.

I wonder what the transfer fee was? Might have been a million or something!

Well, possibly.... 🤔

Forgive me if I’m being naive, but I really don’t understand all the cloak & dagger
stuff over the last few weeks, in L1!

If a player wants to leave & is in the process of negotiating a transfer, then why not just say so?

With all respect to Kenny, we aren’t exactly talking Harry Kane level of negotiations here!

Especially when his ‘to-be’ missus all too clearly doesn’t appreciate ‘Loose lips sink chips’ ….

We dont know the details of this situation, the club cant make a rod for there own back by allowing a player to please himself
if the stories are true.

Doubt it, 6 months left on his contract was it? They could of pre signed him for nothing end of the season I think? I’d of thought 250k if we were lucky
