Internet issues in ground

Now we have an Internet sponsor isn't it about time something was done about the signal on mobile phones in the ground?
I have 4g and have tried roaming as well. Both only work intermittently or not at all and it's mainly not at all....
With all due respect, it has absolutely nothing to do with the club reference 4G in the ground.

Too many people trying to connect at the same time in the same location can’t help. I was always under the impression that the structure of the stadium (the steel etc) has an impact on this but could be wrong.

The whole area around the ground has poor connection to the internet. I found that out when I tried to pay for parking when we played WBA.

Yep, I can never get on certain apps. Fully expecting some chaos against posh.

Don't need internet for the pass. download to phone. E.g. Google allows you to save as an app that you open with a security code of your choice.

The issue of having to do this aside, the NHS app is very good.

Congrats @Hillymister!

I thought the 'I paid for the bottle top as well, don't remove it' was going to be this week's most nuanced moan, but 'can Blackpool FC erect a 5G mast in the ground' just edges it.

Ha.
Think the bottle top moan is better.
Only use phone before match and at half time not during match unlike some.
Wasn't referring to the NHS app either of which there are several posts elsewhere. (Nor 5G mast🙂)
Aware of poor internet in area but was just saying now we have an internet sponsor things could improve....and provide them with good publicity...

Trying to connect to the EFL rewards app is a joke. You are supposed to register whether you are watching the game at home or in the stadium but 9 times out of 10 it cannot verify that you are in the ground as location.

I'd be happy if the team line ups were on the big screen, might be my aging eyes, but occasionally want to know who the opposition number 33 is, and if I've forgotten to take a screenshot of the BBC before going to the ground I'm snookered! 🤓

I e-mailed the SLO and he said the Board recognise the problems. At the BST AGM I got the impression they're looking into the problem.

I was on O2 and had a brick and one of the lads was on 3 and never had a problem.
So changed to 3 and was able to watch any replays we wanted on ifollow on that.
Got a deal with BT with a broadband deal and I have another brick again😒.
Back to 3 at the first chance, I get for me.

Just give us the half-time results on the big screen and most of our problems are solved.

We must be the only club that don't give half-time and full time/latest results.
Yup bring back the bloke with the big numbers to hang up against the pre-designated (read them in your programme) match numbers in the South West corner @backtotheseventies 🏝️ 😗

Big screen 😂. Not from the North Stand it isn't. We have the equivalent of walking into somebody's and seeing a 26" TV while everyone else has a 50" + smart one.
From my seat in the south I can only see a half to a third of the screen and only half of the time😉…the seconds not minutes😳 but at at least I stay dry when it’s pissing down…..though the vortex of the wind is a pain😁
