Yes Rhodes has 15 Beesley 9.think Rhodes is our top scorer. Comfortably.
I thought he played really well tonight and led the line winning plenty of intelligent headers and some good runs leading to shots. Its a shame that he had nobody supporting him as Lavery is nowhere near good enough.Scored
2 other half chances
Won loads of headers which set others up.
He works hard and currently ahead of all the other options for me.
Lavery for me was our best player in the second half and was a constant threat down the left hand side.I thought he played really well tonight and led the line winning plenty of intelligent headers and some good runs leading to shots. I think that's the thing about Beesley, he works really hard - as do the other three strikers. You can't accuse any of them of not giving it a good go but the service from the rest of the team is often poor (how many times did we fail to beat the first man again last night) and the strikers decision making is often as poor. I would say with Rhodes out of the side we don't have a goal poacher or a natural scorer in the side.Scored

Think Lavery's best spell for us was as a goalbpoacher, He works hard out wide but does not threaten. I know he is playing to Critchley instructions, but he leaves the other striker isolated.Lavery for me was our best player in the second half and wes a constant threat down the left hand side.
yeah, I've always thought he was best operating between the two posts and running the channel but have to say it's been a long long time since I've seen him be so effective as he was in the second half last night and that was playing out wide left.Think Lavery's best spell for us was as a goalbpoacher, He works hard out wide but does not threaten. 7 league goals, 12 in all competitions. How many league goals has Beesley got?
Agree but definitely OK in L1. Might do OK in Championship off the bench.Beesleys ok but his 1st touch is poor on many occasions during a game.
I think that is spot on. I think Jake is one of the few players to improve this year however he is coming up to 27 and I just wonder if he has peaked as will he get any better than he is now? Lavery is 25 this year but I again wonder if he's peaked whereas Joseph is 22 and Kouassi is 20 and so will have more to give. If we do sign Rhodes again, for me, we have to say ta-ra to Shayne and Jake to bring in an extra two strikers.I think that's the thing about Beesley, he works really hard - as do the other three strikers. That's the first time that I've seen Lavery and Wes used in the same sentence, let alone the same breath!Lavery for me was our best player in the second half and wes a constant threat down the left hand side.
mmmm....not sure i even mentioned Wes. You on the bus tomorrow? That's the first time that I've seen Lavery and Wes used in the same sentence, let alone the same breath!
Lavery will never be fit to lace The Magician's boots...
Yep. I've nothing against the lad, acknowledge his heart and graft, but I despair at the number of times he is simply unable to control the ball at a fairly basic level. It seems to just bounce off his shins at a variety of tangents. Sad, really, and needs to be addressed with coachingBeesleys ok but his 1st touch is poor on many occasions during a game.
Aagh ,got you. Very good.Lavery for me was our best player in the second half and wes a constant threat down the left hand side.
And of course, you are in a position to judge others, when you write posts like that.If so he takes a lot of stick compared to Miss Penalty and Koo koo
The latter gave us steel something we have missed against the likes of Stevenage.Bees is better than Gary Madine if you look at stats this season, though some on here idolise the latter.
I see you've now edited your original post, changing 'Wes' to 'Was' ...mmmm....not sure i even mentioned Wes. You on the bus tomorrow?

Oh I dunno .. Miss Penalty and Koo Koo (along with the Poor Yates) have had their fare share of stick. If so he takes a lot of stick compared to Miss Penalty and Koo koo
