tangerine or knob end territory? I remember years ago we had a big presence in Garstang but not sure these days.

Not a clue why i thought of this probably getting giddy about tomorrow 🤪
 
Brought up there with all knobber relatives and I just thank god all my peers were Seasiders 🧐🤗
Then in 1975 @ 15 got moved to Knobbersville 😵😵😵😵

well pilling at the time but yes i was a participant haha - i’d be sure SPS would have been to but by that time i was probs too high off the fumes of JWs bong 😭😭😭
 
Just recently moved from Tiptree in Essex to Garstang. I can honestly say I think it's 50:50. From walking the dog each day I have met about an equal amount of both, and all good banter.
 
I'd say Garstang is mainly PNE.

However from over Wyre all the way through Cockerham and Pilling to Lancaster is tangerine.

Yes indeed; a very long and eventful day.

Been on a stag do in Blackpool the night before....😨

Set off early from the pub in Garstang c/w a barrel of beer!

Eventful stop off in Banbury; remember getting lobbed out of the Woolpack for being too boisterous! 😉

And then the game; don't really remember much to be honest! 😩

Great day out; I recall there were 20 of us packed in like sardines as it wasn't a particularly large van!

Great memories! 😆

So it’s fair to say we went by bus, coach, van, minibus and everything inbetween (including my dads escort van) whilst the unwashed couldn’t even get a push bike full. Great times and memories including Banbury!
 
Like Garstang, some nice boozers and eateries👍 Good for a bit of a pub crawl. So tonight which will be the best pub to watch for ‘pool fans? Any to avoid as knobber hotbeads😆

No knobber hotbeds any more. They used to mince around with their shandy's and coke's in the Kings many years ago.
I'll be in the club watching it tonight as no ticket, and there will be other seasiders around most of the pubs I should imagine.

didn't the two of them use to drink in the Crown - never anyone in and with no atmosphere...........bit like their sh!thole down the road!

On a Tuesday night game we would often stop off at the Chequered Flag 'disco' on our way back to Lancaster / Carnforth.
Always a few knobbers in there for us to have some moves with on the dance floor. 😇
 
Garstang Lancaster & Kendal & the lakes were alway pne strongholds . I used to live up there we always had coaches from Kendal home & away 52 seaters sometimes x2 & lots in cars . Lancaster & Morecambe also took there own coaches .Where I sit in TF there is loads of them near me all from the lakes & Kendal we have all gone for years .
Garstang has plenty of north Enders there they post on pne - online . We also have quite a few from barrow & Ulverston areas
I believe you have a 1 Cumbrian coach that that covers the county & Lancaster.
You lot are so funny
