I don’t know that you’ve followed my point, but I am sticking up for the groundsman, in saying I believe he could have kept it from being waterlogged, I mean just look at the work he did to get the WBA game on, but I have half a mind the club thought it may be beneficial if this one gets canned for a later date and just let the pitch become waterlogged, which isn’t a challenge given its current state.
Yes key players have been out for a while, but when an opportunity like a down pour presents its self, after one our longest trip of the year, with key players out and one spare Tuesday to be used, why not take it.
I think we did it for Peterborough, Burton did it a few weeks ago, we’re likely to be in a far better place two months from now to face Doncaster than we were last night. Again I don’t think it’s that far out there to suggest we weren’t that concerned with getting the game on
