Is this the worst trip ?

Yes we won but that was turgid
Reminded me of the way we often played in the early 80s in the old Division 4
Bar Dembele’s goal that was an incredibly poor performance against woeful opposition
Why we continue to persevere with a flawed system that does our players no favours whatsoever is beyond me
Trust the process ?

SS said he is the custodian of the Club.

Well if he's not too careful the soul of this club is getting eroded by his ridiculous Managerial appointments and now more so with Critchley at the helm.

Stick with this idiot and he's not going to have much of a club and supporters to be custodian of.

To directly answer the o/p, not the worst trip, but perhaps one of the most frustrating.

The 80's referred to in the o/p were a really bad watch, whereas this season there's been the odd good performance and/or result, plus pieces of individual brilliance (Dembele mainly).

But with more flexibility with the formation, and a coach who reacts to what's happening in front of him (before the 70th minute), I feel we'd have made the top 6 easily this season, weaker side than the promotion side or not.

Stop bloody moaning. I had to come in from the pool to watch it.
Mind you it was a bit hot. 🥵

im sure those were words I uttered to you second half
Plagiarism at its best

1000096847.jpgTake a long look at that table, then tell me that the away performances against the likes of Fleetwood, Burton, Cheltenham, Port Vale, Charlton, Wycombe, Wigan, Exeter, Cambridge all in the bottom half were acceptable.
We should easily have 79 points by now and trying to consolidate a PO position .
Critchley's negativity, poor formations and reluctance to attack what are basically pub sides has robbed us of an opportunity to get back to the Championship at the 1st attempt.

Is your mate aware Tim how the fans are feeling? Or is he still backing the snake 100%?
Only I sometimes wonder if these two go together like bacon and egg and have a special bond between them and fcuk the fans. 🤷‍♂️

We are a piss poor turgid out fit end of story the Carlisle keeper did not have a save to make all game from what I can remember.
we need a big clear out end of story we need up to 6 Quality players up all over the park I would get shut of half the team that is how poor we really are.
we are playing a system that is the most defensive boring football I have ever recalled seeing us play in the last 25 or more years it is that bad and so pedestrian like.
we need to go back to 4-4-2 and have to wingers bombing down the wings and getting the ball in to the box with a attacking midfielder as well as to goal scorers as well as a new manager then we will be ok .
keeping hold of Quitch will be a disaster and season ticket sales are going to drop

I know people will mock this but for whatever reason known to man, I've never been as frustrated as a Blackpool fan in over 35 years. Maybe a midlife crisis and Critchley is getting the brunt of it but the whole thing makes me angry. It's got to the point where it's actually in my own interest to be a firestick fanny.

I mean what the hell are we doing first pumping today after pretty much missing out of the play offs. To me, it looks like we are celebrating failure.

Just posted something very similar. Top 6 should’ve been the bare minimum in this piss poor league.

It’s not the worst. The boycott years were as I genuinely feared the club would sink into non league oblivion, but the football is bloody awful and season ticket sales will suffer with Safety First Critchley still in charge

Midlife crisis is in your 40s isn't it?

I am, just said 35 as in attending Bloomfield.

This is the first time ever supporting Blackpool I've never really been able to get behind a manager. Appleton was bad if not not on par but really struggling with Critchley.

It's not Critchley as a person, it's the system I can't stand and seeing basic errors week in week out. If he changed it, I could potentially get behind him again.

Must admit I’ve struggled to get emotionally invested in this seasons team
More often that not I find watching them frustrating and quite boring in equal measure
Not their fault to be fair rather the system coupled with ingame management
