nah, that's tosh. It's all about getting clean sheets first and being hard to beat. And of course we still need to give him time to get to know the players and get them playing the way he wants. It's all about getting our flair players tracking back to help out the defence.

That first 45 mins was absolute amateur yet we still managed a couple of shots on target and restricted them to three as the home team. Another day we go in nil nil, get our goal and go on to win.

Sometimes you just need it to go your way to get the “monkey off your back” win and it isn’t happening. I fear it’s now too late to realistically get a run going….but that’s two matches in a row we’ve looked more dangerous with 10 men than we have with 11. We have to find a way of playing to our strengths a bit more with 11 so for me that means Rodgers Poveda and Bowler all in the starting 11.

Bowler and Poveda are too alike trying to dribble through the same part of the pitch. Poveda for me at present.
