So the players didn’t step up to the plate and it’s Critch’s fault.
When the starting XI was announced there were no complaints as it was a strong side, although I’ve no doubt there will be the usual suspects on here who will slag off the selection (after the event of course) because they have loads of experience at management.
The players, and the players alone, were to blame for this defeat against a team who haven’t won a home game since 21st October

A team loses in that manner and the manager bears no responsibility? None?

Ok then!

There may not have been dissenting voices on here but I can assure you, there were at the ground, as there often is. How he perseveres with this negative formation is a mystery. Connolly ahead of Casey or Marvin? Lyons deserves his place but not as a left wingback. Carey has had his best spell in recent weeks yet he puts him on the bench.
It’s pathetic and I’m fed up of going all over the country to watch this crap.

Then don't go.

Those who do prove complicit in failure.

Yeh he is too loyal to certain players and too wedded to a system that isn't working for these players he is loyal too. A possession based style of play but then trampoline touch CJ always plays as a prime example of it.
Sometimes you can't see the woods for the trees and we are certainly in that territory I think with NC.

cmon blackpool peeps. i am disappointed but lets not get in the sack race just yet . but we do seem to turn it on at home and fail away. apart from battering POMPEY four nil.

He's got to go. He's not doing even the most basic things right.

The problem is that tactics are so predictable.
Pass it round and round the back line of the 3 centre halves side to side.
Give it to Norburn to do a forward pass to Carey for him to pass it back to grimshaw.
Grimmy gives it hubby or Pennington for them to hit a diagonal to CJ, lyons or dale.
Hoping for the second ball to land to Dembele and him to run at the opposition defence.
Wash rinse repeat
No plan B.

Your sophisticated lexicon suggests you believe the word erudite means a glue.
Isn’t erudite a derivative of the word erudia which is Sanskrit for ‘fraud’ or ‘deluded’ and in Hebrew roughly translates as ‘cockwomble’?

Totally agree, once the players cross over the white line its down to them to follow instructions if that doesn't happen how can he be blamed, he can't help players mistakes, you only need one player not doing their job and problems then start.
The players will have been prepared right but at times things just don't turn out how we would all want them to

More and more seeing it now hopefully. Notice the snake didn’t come over to us at the end….. he certainly wouldn’t have liked what was being shouted to him
We are stuck with a manager who is stuck in his ways.... we are anchored in mid table mediocrity.
For me, the passionless 1 nil defeat at dumpdale a couple of seasons back was evidence of of what we will always have under NC.
That seems to be good enough for the club but not for me.

Too slow play
Too many touches
Not picking our strongest team
Rotating far too much
Favourite players
Trying to keep everyone happy

He’s not strong enough to be a manager. He needs to go. Very disappointing season so far. Massively underachieving.
If I was SS I'd be looking very closely at bringing in someone who knows how to choose a manager should the need come, and it will.

I’m voting “no” just to be different. 😁

Imo we’ve got the best 2 attacking talents in Lg1 and if we can’t register a shot on target or even force the keeper into making a save, what’s the feckin’ point?

I wasn’t in favour of getting him back. Sadler seems incapable of picking the right manager for the right moment. We’ve had some horrendous, baffling appointments. Talks about the Blackpool way, then goes and does the complete opposite. It’s beyond bewildering, but I reckon we will probably stick with Critchley. These anti-football and perpetually dull managers’ are also killing the atmosphere.
The most important signing in January should be a competent no.2.

Unfortunately it’s good enough for some of our mamby pamby fans as well…… no wonder we are where we are with this clown in charge

I just get the feeling that it's too late for a No 2 now. He should never have been hired without that exp backup.

The time for the appt was late Oct/early Nov.

It's crazy really as we know where this is going, roll on May.

65% possession for us. 35% for them
10 shots for us (none on target). 8 for them and just 2 on target.

The attempt that Rhodes had he would have put in the back of the net 99 times out of a 100, so that just summed our day up.

Blaming Critch is the easy way out ‘cos a lot of people don’t like him and will not accept the fact that sometimes the players can let the team down which they did today.
Grimmy now responsible for conceding two soft goals in two games and yet no-one mentions that
Oh, hang on a minute, he probably conceded them on instructions from Critch.
