Can't see another thread on this, apologies if this is a repeat. Hubby's match ratings on Whoscored is averaging 7.7, putting him in the top 4 defenders in the league. And out of contract in the summer.

He's one of the four highest rated defenders, of course there'll be interest.

What classifies as awful in your opinion? A couple of off games that every player goes through?
The lad is a good defender who is also good at bringing the ball out of defence, getting down the wing with it and then putting in a decent cross. From what I saw he did most of that last season

No he wasn’t….what we had were two awful managers.

I was going to say, credit where it’s also due to Grimshaw. There’s a reason we’ve had so many clean sheets.
