Jerry Yates in Manchester Evening News

😂 out with his good friend Mason Holgate.

I hope he at least pulled the bird so he's scoring some where 🤪

That’s prob him dropped for the next game. So
Much easier in the old days you could get rendered without anyone knowing

Unless he has a twin brother I would say it's him.

If it was last night and they've got a day off today then fair enough, hopefully he wasn't supposed to be in training this morning.

Saturday night after a game, if he didn’t have training on Sunday then there’s no issue.

It was last night. Even so, maybe it's the case they don't have training today. I'm not particularly bothered - I posted because it's not every day you're scrolling down Twitter and see your striker lashed up, topless and spread across a regional paper!

Sorry lads and lasses. It's not him.

I'd like to apologise if my six pack causes any offence and I should keep my top on 🤪

Who cares players went in Brannigans every Saturday night (other venues were available) Back in the day.

I know its supposedly called fashion which I’m so obviously behind the times with ..... but pray tell, why has Jerry left the shops security tag and price sticker on his trainers ?

It is him, maybe a bit personally embarrassing but not sure it's anything to be concerned about

When I first saw this I laughed, but now I'm actually quiet annoyed by it. He's starting to give the impression that he just doesn't want to be here tbh. I heard about this really passionate player and I've not see that off him. He's still got Swindon as his profile pic on his social media ffs. Critchley saying that the players are hurting on Saturday and now this comes out on Monday. I'm all for players having a laugh and going out, but there's a time and a place. When you've just played shit and got embarrassed 4-1 that's not it.

why does the fact he has gone out drinking the last day it’s legally possible mean he doesn’t want to be here? If that was you and your boss asked you the next day if you even want to be in the job any more you would say ‘sorry what on earth does this have to do with my work?’

Its not just him going out last night when he has training today. It's the fact that he just doesn't seem to care. Like I said, I've not seen him really celebrate a goal, his social media is still full of anything but Blackpool, he just gives off a doesn't care attitude imo. When everything I've heard about him says how passionate he is. Just my opinion though, I know people won't agree. Also if I went into my job hungover like he is gonna be today, my boss wouldn't be happy at all.

I’m not convinced it’s him, but that aside, if footballers are getting tested regularly to keep their ‘team bubble’ secure, then the last thing a manager would want is your players going out on the lash, and judging by that photo, not being too bothered about social distancing.

No one likes a grass. Mind your own business

Re-posting a newspaper article posted on a social media platform of over 300m users on a public forum to a couple of hundred Blackpool fans / active users.

How's that grassing, you absolute doughnut? Hardly ringing up Neil Critchley am I?

Everyone is entitled to a night out, so in itself being out for a drink is fine in my view
But as someone has said, after being battered 4-1 at home it just likes like you're not arsed, especially with the shirt off
Add to that the social distancing aspect, it just looks a bit unprofessional - and surely you can have a beer without trying to do a poor man's Chippendale impression?

And the girl behind him appears to be throwing up in his trousers, that can't be a great look.

To be fair, he showed plenty of passion celebrating both our goals against Swindon.

Nothing wrong with that. I remember Hughie Kelly telling me that he used to have to get one of our players out of the Bloomfield Club before a match

If I'd just played Ipswich and got battered I'd want to go out to cheer myself up. Hope he's got it out of his system and is now working hard to get ready for next Saturday.

Don't care about players going out and getting smashed. We've all done it at that age. However if we have training today then I doubt Critchley will be too impressed. Could get dropped on Saturday for this, especially if Kaikai is fit.

when you’re in your 20s and you’re home by 11, trust me there is no hangover!
Have to disagree with the passion comment, due to work I only saw the first two games but despite him being ineffective I did see a lot of effort, felt like night and day difference from Nuttall’s debut

Was it Saturday night ? If so who gives a flying fuck if a young footballer goes out with his mates after the game. If it was pre game then yes, unprofessional.

Maybe Critch let them all go let there hair down. Maybe it isn’t training today. Maybe we should just mind our own business. So many jumping to conclusions from a picture.

He shouldn’t be going out any night before he has training or a game the next day for me. No professionalism.

Have you seen the nights out/house parties/coke induced orgies most young professionals get up to these days?

Maybe I would agree with you if there wasn't the 10pm curfew, but think we should give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he went out because he knew he would have to go home at 10 anyway so not like he's gonna be doing a Barry Ferguson the next day.

He's a young lad, with a life to live. As long as his football performance doesn't drop off a cliff, I can't see the harm. Also if the lady in the photo put a spring in his step, then surely that can only make the lad happy and hopefully score goals for fun. 😉

No problem with him going out if they have day off next day but it’s not very professional to be out the night before training (If it was). Don’t think the ten o’clock thing makes much difference here he looks pretty hammered which means he’s not going to be 100% on it the next day.
